Hello! Please bare with me if you are reading this, have had a lot going on. I had lipo in 2008 which included 360 thighs, flanks and abdomen. It went well and I was very happy with the results. The first time I had the procedure was in a hospital under general anesthesia. The only thing I really remember as far as pain goes is when I woke up I felt like somebody had set my legs on fire, by the time my friend got me home though it had subsided. I had the procedure done in Florida which is where i lived at the time and I swore I would never have to have another lipo. Flash forward to now. In the last year I lost my little brother/best friend to Cancer, flew into Oregon to be with him in his final days, was fired from my job after they assured me I could go and my job would be there. Then I turned 50 and with everything going on in the last year I first dropped a bunch of weight after my brother passed, then it was like I woke up and none of my clothes fit, went to the doctor and almost started crying when I got on the scale and weighed in at 170. Up until recently I had held steady at about 148 and I am 5'9". I just recently started doing my research on doing some lipo to my thighs, particularly the back of my legs and the rear saddle bag areas. I consulted with two PS in the Portland area and one of them insisted that they could do cool sculpting, did enough research on this to know I wasn't wasting my time with it. The second PS told me he would do nothing with the back of my legs, both quoted me about $6500-$8000 just to lipo the saddle bags on the outside of my thighs. I was discouraged. I then sent a message to my PS in Florida and by the end of this week I have schedule to fly back to Florida and he will be doing lipo on the circumference of both thighs on November 26th. I love this PS and I trust him but this time will be different because it will be in his office under Versed with some Valium to calm my anxiety. After I lost my little brother I have had bouts with PTSD and I am worried that the Versed won't be enough and I may have additional PTSD. So, my question is to you peeps out there, anybody have a lipo procedure under versed in an office setting? I would love to know how the experiences went. I have googled my ass off (not literally, unfortunately) and can't find any experiences that match my own. Also, I will be traveling alone with my companion doggy who was my little brothers and will be alone for the following week, holed up in a hotel. So if anybody has travelled like this to have a procedure, I would love to hear those experiences too. Thanks for "listening"
