So I've read the Ultimate Shopping List, I've read the recovery stories, I'm two weeks out for lipo of the abdomen and flanks, and nervous, but almost ready. Dotting my Is and crossing my Ts now, and trying to tie up lose ends to get ready... like cleaning my room, which is currently a disaster, and making sure I have clean sheets, etc. My question is - what are the things you wish you had thought of or prepped for that no one would expect? Could be as simple as 'having enough books' to read, or 'seat belts were uncomfortable, so don't plan long car rides for a week' or 'shoes are hard, so make sure you have slip ons' or 'you'll want a lot of black, cotton undies, cause you'll leak whatever and need to change them regularly'.. or 'buy sports bras that clasp and unclasp, so you can be comfy...' I dunno..you tell me! One thing I thought of was 'oh, I should dye my hair now, even though it's a few weeks early, cause it might be hard to maneuver and the dye probably won't be great for any open wounds... Any great wonder products that are outside the usual recommendations (especially for someone getting it done in the sweltering city)? Anything you didn't think about but wish you would have? Any favorite recovery foods? Basically, I'm not looking for a list of the things you _need_ to have on hand or the stuff you _need_ to prep for, but the things that either made or would make life a whole lot easier, or pleasant for the recovery process. What are those 'oh, I wish I had thought of...' things you'd tell a rookie at this?
