Hi everyone, I really need advice/opinions on what to do... I went to two great plastic surgeons, who gave me two totally different 'plans of action' for correcting my breast asymmetry and making my breasts larger. I like both doctors, but am unsure which to decide now because I had been expecting similar plans. I was hoping there may be anyone with experience in similar situations that could offer there opinion or advice, I would greatly appreciate it! MY BODY PRE-BREAST AUGMENTATION: I am 5'8" tall, about 120 lbs, very straight and thin. My right breast is a 32A or B on a great day, my left is a 32B or C on a great day... My Post-Op goal would be a small D (small DD is possible!), about the size my best Victoria's Secret bra provides :) My breasts are fuller at the bottom, and my left breast is fuller at the top than my right, but both are pretty deflated. Also, my nipples now appear to point upward and be a little 'puffy' directly underneath... (Also, they were more symmetrical, perky, and my nipples appeared more 'normal' before pregnancy & 5 weeks of breastfeeding/pumping - 1 pregnancy) THE DOCTORS SAID: The first surgeon simply wanted to put in 2 smooth silicone implants, varying in size by about 100cc's, through the crease and under the muscle. He said the upper volume 'should' make my nipples look nicer, and stated that they would never be saggy. The second surgeon wanted to use 2 textured silicone implants, as he thought they would likely 'stay put' better with future possible pregnancies. He wanted to vary them by about 50cc's, go under the muscle, using a periareolar incision so he could remove a little of the puffy tissue beneath my nipples to eliminate the upward pointing appearance. He did not think that more volume in my breast alone would necessarily make them point forward. He also felt that the scarring would be less noticeable than the crease because of my nipple color, and the fact that my breast doesn't cover the crease currently. Both Doctors had agreed that the end size would depend on how large an implant my smaller breast would 'handle' being that it is quite a lot smaller than the other, therefore a smaller pocket to fill. PLEASE HELP! I am obviously not a doctor, so I do not have any idea which sounds more reasonable. If anyone could give me some advice, I would really appreciate it before I decide where to go! I have attached a side angle picture so the 'puffiness' and upward point of my nipples can be seen. THANKS!!
