Safety of Lumenis M22 IPL
- Last updated: 3 years ago
HI! I'm 42, with capillaries on my nose and cheeks that I'd like to be rid of before my wedding in July. I had a consult at a local Medi Spa that's been in business for 14 years and has a good reputation and no BBB complaints. The nurse/owner, who has been doing this 18 years, recommended yag for my nose and IPL Photorejuvination, both from the Lumenis M22 machine, for my cheeks, 2-3 treatments at $225 a session. I've been researching and quite frankly, all of the horror stories have me a bit scared. There is another, dermatologist-owned place in town, but I wasn't impressed with the nurse practitioner...at all (his daughter). They wanted $75 a session, and didn't say what equipment they have, but I'm assuming for that price it's not cutting-edge. What are your thoughts? I appreciate your feedback!
