Hi everyone,I am hoping to remove 12 year old silicone implants they are under the muscle. The surgeon has suggested using IV sedation and local or just local anesthetic for this.He thinks I have a ruptured implant on one side....is it okay to remove ruptured implants without a general anesthetic? Also can a surgeon tell if you will need a capsule removed before the surgery and if I need a capsulectomy will it be okay to do under a local anesthetic? If anybody has had a good or bad experience of any of this can you please advise as I want to opt for a general if it would be safer.I am afraid of being in a lot of discomfort during the procedure.Thank you
