Hi all,About 2 weeks ago, I had SmartLipo Triplex done on my lower back and sides to removed a little amount of fat that I couldnt get rid of. It wasn't much, but definitely bulged out and made me look terrible without a shirt. Anyway, procedure went well, two PS in the office examined me the day after and two days after surgery and, while I was swollen, they said it was looking good. I scheduled my month followup with them and was happy.Well, it looks like after some massaging the past few days, the swelling is going down. I've worn my compression belt around my torso almost 24hrs a day& haven't had any issues until yesterday. As the swelling goes down it's leaving what seems to be pockets. If I press on it, it moves to another area, as if it's shifting air or something. If I press on my back, it's like my sides slightly inflate.I guess I can describe it as a ripple or pocket of air where the fat was removed and the swelling has gone down. I also have hard lumps where the swelling is still present & the skin is tight against that part. Like I said, after lipo with the swelling, skin looks tight against it, but as it goes down, the skin is not tight and seems to be apart from my body like a pocket is there.I know I'm only 2 weeks post-op, but does this seem normal? The PS was confident my skin would retract, as I'm on the younger skin with good skin overall, but I'm just getting worried that I'll just have these tunnels of air, separating my body from my skin.
