Recovery in back/bra roll vs. abdomen - how hard is it?
- Last updated: 1 year ago
Hi! I just had smart lipo done to my abdomen and flanks, and I have found the recovery to be monstrously painful (not sure now they thought that you could go back to work in a couple days--fortunately this was not an issue in this particular case).Because it was awake lipo, and there was a lot to take out of my abdomen (somewhere to the tune of 8lbs), obviously it was necessary that my back/bra roll and arms should be done at a later date. Currently, I'm trying to decide if I even want to do this (although it's been less than two weeks--so possibly my tune will change once the swelling goes down and I can get a good night of sleep), and if so, what I should expect in terms of recovery--from people who have had it and can compare experiences, versus what the doctor will tell me to get money out of me.So, how hard was lipo to the back/bra area (and arms) compared to abdominal lipo for anyone who's had both done? Was it more painful or less painful to have done (if you were awake)? Was it more or less painful or difficult to recover from? If you had them all done at the same time--which areas were the most difficult for you to recover from?(And yeah, like I said, if awake, how hard was it for you to endure versus abdominal lipo? I found the abdominal lipo to be like the most unbearably painful experience I'd ever gone through by the time the doctor got to the end of it, although I'm not sure that bothered me as much as the recovery is bothering me.)Thanks so much!
