The topic of penis enlargement brings up thoughts of late night infomercials and tacky advertisements on the back of men's magazines. Gone are the days of pills and penis enlargement devices such as Extenders and Pumps, nowadays men are flocking to the operating table to give their manhood a boost. The Daily Mail reported that there has been a 40% rise in demand for Penis Enlargement Surgery, or it's official term Penoplasty, citing [RS bleep] and well-endowed celebrities (think David Beckham's underwear ads) responsible for fueling the trend. With German men leading the way, nearly one in five of all operations performed worldwide are taking place in Germany (apparently, bratwursts isn't the only thing they like big). According to figures released by The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) which revealed that "in the past 12 months, 2,786 German men have gone in for surgery to increase either the girth or length of their penis. In the UK, the number is much smaller — only 12 in the last 12 months."
Doctor Roberto Viel, who performs this procedure on more than 300 men a year reveals that "the main reason men come for a penoplasty is to improve their self-esteem and confidence." He further reveals to MailOnline that " men are more aware and worried about their bodies. All the parts are important and the genitals are no exception. We're living in the age of images, with sexual ones very often on the front page. Sex gets more attention and people feel the need to be more competitive."
So how exactly does one give their penis an upgrade? In the following video, you will see a Penis Enlargement Surgery in action. I caution you; this is pretty graphic.

The question we have all been waiting for, is bigger always better? According to Doctor Samir Shureih "There is no evidence that increasing the length or girth of the penis improves one's sex life, or the partner's. It is what you do with what you have that matters." [Read more]
