I had the all on 4 procedure done on 8/24/16 (top and bottom) with nothing major complications to speak of, however, I am almost one month post op and I can't seem to totally get rid of what feels like firm lumps in the four corners of the inside of my mouth. The best description I can give for the location of the swelling on the bottom is behind the lower lip all the way down as far as you can get your tongue to do on both the left and right side. Like where people would put chewing tobacco, lol. But it's the left and right side only. The center doesn't swell. The swelling feels firm and elongated kinda like the shape of a Tootsie Roll but a bit smaller. I'm also getting it in the same location on top. I can't pinpoint what is causing this but just when it starts to shrink down I do something to make it swell back up. It makes my upper lip feel tight when I open my mouth and around my nose as well. There is no pain whatsoever. I feel like it happens after I eat. It's so random and frustrating. I talked to my dentists office and they said the firm swelling is due to the integration process of the implants and the bone and it is normal. I wanted to post this mainly to see if anybody else has experienced this type of swelling post op. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
