Hi, i want to get the forehead reduction done, however, i am a male. So my prospects for this procedure are quite low... due to male pattern baldness. I am searching for male patients who could give me first hand insight about their results and situation. Even female patients who could give me tips and advice, anything would be appreciated.Questions:How long are you post op?Any side effects? pain? Any signs of shedding? hair loss? Has it grown back? Has it got worse? Did you notice the density of your hair decrease?Does your scar show? Is it obvious? What will you do if you go bald? If you use hair transplants, which method? What about scar revision?I cant seem to think of anymore questions, but if i do, ill post down below or edit this. Ive looked into both hair transplant & forehead reduction. I've discovered that hair transplants just doesn't achieve the hair density that i would want, http://favehairstyles.com/2015... this is a link of hairstyles i could only dream of, but with hair transplant i probably wouldnt be able to pull my hair back because the density wouldnt be enough... it wold take a minimum of two hair transplants to get the density that i would want. So i figure if i have to get hair transplants then why not just get it when i really have to, and thats when i begin to bald... but thats EVEN if i go bald? If i get the forehead reduction, i could keep the full density i have now, and if i dont go bald, then great! and if i do go bald, i'll get hair transplants with the minimum amount of density to just disguise the hairline scar? Do i make sense, or does it sound better in my head?Thank You so much for your time and attention! I plan to get the forehead reduction with Dr. Kabaker before he retires.
