I am almost 3 weeks out from my first botox injections for migraines. I see that there are others with head, neck and back pain after the injections. My Dr. does not believe these pain symptoms are "related " to botox ....even though the literature they gave me list them as side affects. I have had neck pain prior to the injections but now are extreme. And now I notice a bulging lump on my cervical neck bone high up near the base of my scull. When I tip my head back it gets huge...is soft and mobile. ..very tender to the touch. My nurologist of course is out of town until this Monday. So they recommended I call my new primary (which I don't really care for) and she would tell me what it was and suggested just an xray and physical therapy and basically walked out of the room. That was Thursday and I called late Friday after no call with results but never got thru to the nurse. Anyone else have a painful lump right on the bone after botox? I am still having migraines too and blurry vision. Very disappointed....but this lump is scaring me.
