In 3 months I will be 26 and will have to come off my father's insurance. I havent met with a max face surgeon yet, but im 99% i need orthognastic surgery (moderate-boderline severe overbite, receded jaw/chin, tmj clicking and popping). So my question is, what insurance company should I try to pursue that seem to work best with helping out the cost of the orthognastic surgery? And will any insurance company I go with see this is as pre-existing condition? I'm not getting another insurance for the purpose of helping out with the jaw surgery, I'm getting it because in 3 months I'm no longer get eligible to be on my dad's insurance, which I have been on my whole life.
