Hello: I'm a 40-ish man needing to fill the deep tear troughs I have from being very lean. I am very fit, and otherwise look 10 years younger than my age. There's little chance I'll fatten up enough to make much of a difference in my tear troughs, or templar region, though. I'm too active, and I wouldn't get soft to fatten my face. It would be a poor trade. Luckily I have really prominent features, with high cheekbones, and a very strong jaw and chin, so I think that Restylane is a good therapy for now, and maybe fat grafts later. But it's very hard to find a true expert here in Colorado Springs or Denver. After doing a lot of searching online, I've found few board certified plastic surgeons in Colorado Springs or the Denver area, that advertise that they themselves inject restylane; some seem to refer to their "spa" or "skin rejuvenation" centers for these injections. The inference is that someone else does the injections. Following the extremely apt advice of all the surgeons on this forum, I would only get such injections (and I may want them in the templar and glabellar area as well), from a true board certified plastic surgeon, who also has vast experience with these specific procedures, and has a big collection of before/ after pics. (I looked into fat grafts a year or so ago, and found two busy doctors that had very little photos to show me; I got the idea they were not so experienced in grafting. Based on my web search, I'm assuming the surgeons here may do less filler injections, if they're undercut by spas, with nurses, etc., who dole the stuff out cheaper. Can anyone here help me find the right surgeon to do the best job? Thanks
