Very frustrated with my current Invisalign situation

Just want to start out by saying that yes, I know it is my mistake that I chose to stick with this orthodontic clinic. When I first started, they had very good reviews, and I guess I thought it would be worth a shot to stick with them. However, I'm very upset at this point.I have had these invisalign on for about a year and possibly even longer, I don't even remember.I had 1 correction done because one tooth just wouldn't move to become straighter. When I finally got my correction trays, this orthodontist (or is he even a doctor?) claiming to be the man who designed my treatment plan, placed my invisalign correction trays into my teeth. They felt snug, so I thought they were working. Then I realized that one of my tooth (the one that needed correcting) still had buttons on it when the tray had no slot for a button!I called my orthodontist, but nobody picked up the phone. I left a voice mail many times, and nobody picked up.I finally made an appointment, but at that time, it has been months after what's happened. When I finally arrived for my appointment, my original orthodontist wasn't there, and someone new was my orthodontist. She then suggested that I get my cavities filled first before getting a new impression done. Now, this appointment was sometime in early 2016.It is now July 2016, and I am getting my last cavities filled in August.I know, I waited a very long time to get my cavities filled because my first orthodontist suggested that I wait until all my teeth are straightened before I do anything.Long story short, waiting made me get a root canal done.My situation right now is, I am going to move to Portland, OR to pursue my passion in naturopathic medicine.I can't stay here in California for much longer, and I've been wearing this SAME invisalign tray for a VERY long time. The top tray broke into 2 pieces. The bottom tray is on the verge of breaking into 2 pieces.I'm not seeing the will to keep them on.They've stained very terribly. The outer plastic sheet is peeling. And they don't feel like they're doing anything to my teeth at all.I can feel my teeth shifting back to how they used to be.I've paid everything already... and it took this long because of ONE mistake from some random invisalign designer.I don't understand why I might have to pay additional costs when I wasn't the one who made the mistake.Does anybody have any advice on what I should do at this point?I've made an appointment for next week to talk to my orthodontist. And then another appointment for after my last cavity removal, but I'm not even guaranteed that I will get my buttons removed and get my impressions done.Is it even worth doing these here in California?Should I just move to Portland and get everything fixed there even though it may cost additional fees?
