I first had implants put in in 1987. I had always wanted to have larger breasts and decided after the birth of my last child to do it for me. I went 24 years with no major complications. Slight capsulary contracture was all. I went from a 34A to a full B with 235 cc silicone over the muscle. In 2011 after an MRI showed some leaking I decided since they needed to be removed I would also go a little larger I had 339 cc implanted again with no issues. In 2013 I underwent ulnar transposition surgery. Within a few weeks symptoms of tingling, unable to tolerate lightest touch or cold and pain began. As winter approached my arm was compressed simply by sweaters and heavier clothing and swelling began in my upper arm then spread to my left breast. I have been diagnosed with neuropathic pain and CRPS/RSD. The left breast swells if I use my left arm and the pain is unbearable when it occurs. The breast feels as though it's going to pop. It occurs mostly in the colder months and I am on gabapentin , opiates and Ambien. I can no longer stand the anxiety of not knowing when another episode will occur or what will trigger it. I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon next week and surgery the following week. I am so depressed and anxious I'm afraid of more intolerable pain and also cannot imagine what I will look after removal. I know they have to be removed and after 3 years of suffering I am ready to see if removal can ease some of the pain anxious of what I will look like.
Sorry for rambling
