I had open rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction surgery three months ago. Did anyone that had this performed experience burning sensations on their face? I don't have any burning sensations up my nose. Rather the burning is underneath my skin where the hump was removed, on my forehead right above my eyebrows, near my scalp, on top of my head, in back of my head, cheeks, and my upper lip and lips. I am not sure if this is normal as the pain is unbearable to the point where it wakes me up out of my sleep or keeps me up at night. This pain does occur throughout the day as well. If you had this happen to you, what did your doctor say that it was and what did your doctor propose for treatment? I'm not sure if this is nerve damage, nerve regeneration, or some bigger health issue. I never experienced this prior to surgery.
