I am 3 weeks Post Op and my Doctor said I could return to bike riding - outside - and exercise. He stressed for me to "listen to my body".I have read many replies from Doctors about when we can return to exercise after a Face and Neck Lift. Most replies from Doctors on Real Self are similar to my Doctor and suggest returning to exercise gently and to expect some swelling and if there is discomfort to ease off a bit. Because my neck still feels really tight and my face and neck are still a bit swollen, especially in the morning, I am trepidatious to ride a bike as it requires major head turning. Will leaning forward on my handle bars and possibly turning my head quickly from side to side damage my neck and lower facelift in any way? My plan is to take a short bike ride to see how it feels. I also dance in a group where there is a lot of twirling one's partner with arms overhead. I'm not comfortable returning to dancing or yoga for a minimum of 8 weeks Post Op. Would really appreciate your thoughts on when I can return to biking, twirling and yoga.
