Initially I had a hump and a deviated septum so I got my primary rhinoplasty done in India however that left my nose very soft. I guess too much cartilage was removed due to which my nose used to tilt to sides if I tilted my head. Also I had enlarged nostrils hence I decided to go for a second rhinoplasty from another doctor in India. He ruined my case further. He did not address the issue to my nose being too soft and in addition he left my nose looking much worse than it was before the surgery. He made my nose very asymmetrical with a bulbous tip which has a very sharp right tilt. The problem is not really visible in my side profiles however when someone looks at me from the front then it is so obvious. and it becomes even more evident if I smile. It has been few years after my second rhinoplasty and I have been living in a shell. I hate meeting people and have zero confidence. I hate getting clicked. I have been thinking to getting a revision rhinoplasty done however the fear of "what if it becomes even worse" scares the [RS bleep] out of me. Though I have decided not to get it done from India this time around so I have been doing some research for the revision rhinoplasty surgeons based in US as I have heard that US has some of the best revision rhinoplasty surgeons. I am not looking for a beautiful looking nose rather a normal looking nose which does not draw unnecessary attention from people. I may need someone who has amazing aesthetic sense alongwith good knowledge of intricacies of inside of a nose so an ENT + aesthetic surgeon. After going through reviews on realself, I have zeroed down the following doctors though I have no other source to vet the work done by these doctors and don't know if they can really handle a complicated case like mine -Dr. Oakley Smith (Toronto, Canada)Dr. C Spencer Cochran (Dallas, US)Dr. Andres Bustillo (Miami, US)Dr. Lucian Ion (London)Could anyone please suggest me if my research is going in the right direction and I shall be grateful if anyone can recommend any other doctor who you think is capable of handling my case. Looking forward for your valuable suggestions! Many thanks!
