Hi girls, I am a 35 year old mother of 4 very much excited to get some breasts back after breast feeding all 4 of my lovely children! I have researched breast augmentation, saw several consultants and am finally flying to Florida next month for a pre-op visit on the 7th, and surgery on the 8th, with my post-op on the 9th. I will stick around a few days in the hotel to rest up before flying home. I THINK i want silicone and will probably get anywhere from 650-750 cc (will determine that more at the pre-op). I am very excited to have some big boobs, but also nervous. For example, do they actually feel like "real boobs" once you get them? Are they hard to get use to (it's not like we can just take them off at night and put them on the night stand while we sleep!), or do they just conform to your body? Those are my biggest concerns about getting this done. I have had small boobs for so long now, I'm nervous about the adjustment. Also a little nervous about taking the heavy narcotics after the surgery. I had a c-section and did NOT do well on the pain medication I had to take. So, has anyone taken lighter stuff and done okay on pain? I really enjoyed the "10 Things I wish I knew before breast augmentation". That was helpful. Any other helpful hints about preparing before and after? Does it take about 2 weeks to get back to a normal routine? (I realize it takes a full 6 weeks of healing). Anyhow, sooooo excited, but a little nervous about just diving in! Here is to a NEW YEAR!
