I had the surgery on March 7, 2013...upper bleph and they took fat from my abdomen to fill in the gabella (between the eyes) and add to my lips. I am HAPPY with it all so far. At 59, my lips had disappeared and my eyes were sunken in the fat. I could barely see but it was not yet medically necessary. I read that those who have cosmetic surgery are truly corageous and I agree with that as I was a sad puppy the first two days - swelling out of control, pain, soreness...but day 3 makes a huge difference and today, with sunglasses, I went out to lunch. Of course, I ordered something too spicey and could not eat it, but at least I got out. I think arnica montana makes a difference - the creme and the dissolve in your mouth pills. Tylenol extra strength helps more than the prescription pills do. My face feels tight and pulled back but not painful. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat as I think it will make the differences that I wanted and there was no other way to achieve without surgery.
