I have scheduled my surgery date so I am ready to start my review process. I've had two consultations; one with the nurse and the second with the doc. I am curvy with hips but a small upper body that I would like to even out a bit. The doc says 425cc is the most I can go and still look natural, so that's what I'll likely go with. I have my pre-op on July 27th where we'll finalize our choices. She'll bring in 3 sizes and choose the right one during surgery. I am very active and have an athletic build. I don't want to lose that look so I don't want to go for a dramatic change. I just want to fill them up again. I am taking two weeks off work. I think I could get away with one week, but I just want the extra time to relax and let them do their thing. My biggest fear about all of this is not if it'll look good or sizing (I completely trust my MD); it's working out and lifting my two year old. He wants me to hold him all the time, and I do. So that will be an adjustment. He'll be at daycare all day and my husband will be home, so that'll help. Plus my mother in law is coming the week after surgery. I'm also worried about not being able to workout every day. I am an avid runner and I do a lot of body weight exercises. I just have to remind myself, it's temporary, and then look at what I paid for them....no way I'm risking it with that much on the line. I'm very excited! I will post again after my pre-op. Updated on 9 Jul 2015: I'm one month out from my BA. It's pretty much all I can think about now. I'm starting to think about everything I'll need for recovery. I've got a bra, but I need more. And I don't have anything else! Any advice? I'm pretty no-fuss about everything so the easier the better. I'm still worried about not being able to work out. I'm just back from vacation and when I couldn't work out, I felt tired and Blah. Any advice, tips, words of encouragement? I will post pics closer to my pre-op on the 27th.
