At my biggest loss, I was down 100 pounds, but has never achieved abs I was happy with. It didn't seem to matter how many crunches I did.
I went for several consultations, and the best I received was Dr. Derby. She showed me what had happened to my abdominal muscles and was very real with me. I'm self conscious and she made me feel completely comfortable with the procedure.

I'm just over 5 weeks post op and feeling great overall. Just after surgery, I found out I was allergic to neosporin thanks to a rash on my belly button. So, last week, when one of my incision spots seemed irritated, I used bacitracin instead and turns out, I'm allergic to it too. Thankfully, Doctor Derby got me in quickly....She first made sure my file was updated correctly. She then got everything cleaned up, found two stitches that had not dissolved so pulled them out, and put me back together again. A few days after that and I am now healing pretty well.
It feels great to go back and look at my pictures from pre-op and how every week is a little bit different.
Next week, I get to remove this binder and start working out again....I cannot wait.
