I researched and met with three providers to discuss options related to removing breast implants and doing tummy tuck at the same time. Why I selected Dr. Gougoutas was because he described multiple options and made a suggestion as to what he thought would be best for my body type whereas other providers focused on one approach (and felt sales-y). It has been three months since the procedure and I am so happy with the results. In my opinion, these kind of procedures are a "team effort". As a patient, you need to be "patient" but also ask plenty of questions to get the best results (rest, not pushing it too early, but pushing it when it is time) and Dr. Gougoutas and his team were always available when I had questions. They use MyChart so it was a great way to get questions answered. I had a consultation with Dr. Gougoutas to learn more about breast reduction surgery. Dr. Gougoutas was very kind and professional when I saw him for a breast augmentation at the Polyclinic in Seattle. He listened to what I wanted and why, and helped me get there. I am very happy with the results and am in fact going to be seeing him again!

I had a really wonderful experience with Dr. Gougoutas. He is extremely friendly (somewhat like a pediatrician!), and he was available to answer every question asked. He made sure that I understood and felt comfortable with every step of the process. I would suggest him up and down for anyone that is nervous about choosing the right surgeon (or is nervous about undergoing surgery at all!). This was my first surgery, and I went into the surgery with barely any nerves because I knew I was in good hands. Along with that, I am extremely happy with my results, and I feel like a whole new person. I had a breast reduction, and of course, was nervous about coming out botched. But that was NOT a problem! He made sure they were as even as he could get them, and my confidence as completely sky rocketed. I thank him immensely for this smooth experience and the results.

I am very glad that I ended up with Dr. Gougoutas, at the Seattle Polyclinic! I wasn’t sure what to expect but the whole team was very kind. I have anxiety, but I didn’t feel anxious during any conversations at all. Something I really like about Dr. Gougoutas is that he is a great lister and will answer all questions with as much detail as possible. He will take his time with you and make sure you are comfortable through the whole process. He is a very friendly and comforting person to be around. Dr. Gougoutas was excellent during my scar revision surgery. He listens really well and had a lot of care for me as his patient. During the surgery, I had to be awake. Dr. Gougoutas continued to talk with me and made the procedure as stress free as possible. The results so far are exactly what I was hoping for. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 36 years old; I had a bilateral mastectomy with expanders and about five months later I had reconstructive surgery with implants. Dr. Gougoutas performed both procedures and I was thrilled with my results. My incisions were clean and healed beautifully and I had zero complications. I felt like Dr. Gougoutas really listened to me as a patient and took my feedback into consideration. He was helpful, kind and he did amazing work. I’m so thankful I had him as my doctor while I navigated the scary waters of cancer. Can’t recommend him enough!

Dr Gougoutas removed a small, but noticeable cyst from the side of my nose. The process was fast - under a week from first consult to procedure - and the results are phenomenal. The incision is virtually invisible less than two weeks post-procedure. Pain was minimal - no medication required Results are important but equally important is the kindness and expertise exhibited by every team member. Prior to removal I couldn’t wear sunglasses due to location of the cyst and the pain caused by contact. I can now wear sunglasses with no irritation.

I highly recommend Dr. Gougoutas. I had capsular contraction and asymmetry. After a mastectomy, I had an awful experience with my first reconstruction surgeon. Dr. Gougoutas did an amazing job in correcting the problems and on radiated damaged tissue. He is kind and he listens. He is skilled and he explains everything clearly so that you know what to expect. I am grateful for Dr Gougoutas..
