I Healed Slower Than Expected but Am Happy with my Results!

I was self conscious about my melasma so i contacted their clinic. Lisa did my procedure while I was in town. She was great at helping me get setup with the pre-treatment pads a few months in advance and did the procedure. It took me about 4 weeks before my skin no longer felt rough but I continue to see results after two months. If I didn’t have pictures I’m not sure if I’d notice but my melasma no longer bothers me.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Good Results

Dr Jodie and her team make you feel at home during somewhat uncomfortable procedures. They are very professional and the atmosphere feels very clean and safe. I have dark hair, so was a good candidate for laser hair removal. I started with the lower half of my legs and went through 8 consecutive treatments, though initially I was told I would only need 6. I have been happy with my results, and decided to begin treatment for full Brazillian. That also took about 8 sessions, but was well worth the time and expense. I go back once per year for "maintenance" as some hair does come back if you don't. Somewhat expensive, but they seem to charge market rate.

BroadBand Light (BBL)

Thus far, very satisfied with the results.

I see Dr. Jodi, for acne treatment and botox. They are always very nice and welcoming, not pushy at all and take a very conservative approach as well as finanicially mindful. I would not see anyone else. I have done botox, as well as peels, and now starting BBL to clear up my skin and scars. Can not wait for more sessions to start get rid of all my acne scars. Thus far, very satisfied with the results.

Why yes, I am 29

Kybella Results 4 Months Later, 44 years old.

My hereditary double chin has always been with me and has always bothered me. After reading all about Kybella, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! It definitely requires patience to see results. It's like a cruel joke that you have to look A LOT worse before you look better. I received 2 vials for my first round and was swollen for 3 weeks. The first week was really bad, like not wanting to leave the house bad. After that, I think the swelling was only noticable to me. 5 weeks in, I started seeing results. 4 months later, I decided to go in for my second round. I waited for winter so I could easily wear scarves during the bullfrog phase. For round two, my doctor thought 1 vial would be enough. That was yesterday. I am definitely less swollen this time, in part due to having only 1 vial injected and in part to having less fat under my chin than before. I hope that healing will be faster this time. I've posted some side by sides to see the difference so far. I'll update as round 2 heals. Updated on 27 Dec 2016: I'm four days into my second round of Kybella. This time I had only 1 vial and the recovery has been so much easier. I'm a little swollen still, but not so much that anyone else would notice. My chin is still tender and probably will be for a few more weeks. I'm really excited to see my final results. Updated on 29 Dec 2016: It's been six days since my second round of Kybella. Healing is going extremely well and though I have a little bit of swelling, it's only noticeable to me.

65 Year Old, Caucasian Female First Time Doing Ablative Face Procedure

With combination of excitement and concern, my procedure is tomorrow with Dr. Jodie Reinertson of Cosmedic in Seattle. She has been my go-to skin doc for all injections (Botox, fillers) and all non ablative treatments (IPL, Viora) over nearly a decade. Planning on Halo and BBL tomorrow. Have arranged up to 5 days off work in case I look like walking dead post op. Started antibiotics, anti viral and prednisone today. I am a bruiser, swell easily and slow healer so I have stopped alcohol one week prior, limited salt and sugar, started on arnica and bromelain last weekend in hopes to limit bruising and swelling and to encourage healing. Purchased a couple of face ice masks and a dozen muslin cloths for saline and white vinegar soaks. Updated on 23 Feb 2017: Procedure went well, definitely glad I had taken both a pain pill and a xanax one hour prior. Started with BBL for redness and such then Lisa applied the numbing cream. Strong stuff even numbed inside my mouth and tongue. Halo was set at 20 for face and neck with an additional bout at 30 for around the mouth. Definitely at my edge the last 30-40 seconds of each area. By the time she was to the neck forehead was on fire. Cool air hose is a god send. She put makeup with sunscreen on for long car ride home. Heat was pretty uncomfortable until late in evening. Woke today with significant swelling. Would not be able to put in contact lenses even if I needed to. But using cool muslin clothes to just touch and remove Avene Cicalfate barrier cream 2-3 times a day. Face is very tight and a bit achy. Updated on 25 Feb 2017: Day 3 with lots of tightness and crusty all over. Really, really want to try and soften the skin but I know it is the healing process so must wait it out. Not going in public yet, don't want to frighten any children! Still slathering cicalphate 2-3 times a day for some relief. Updated on 26 Feb 2017: Another super tight day, general itchiness with flaking starting. Made mistake of trying to use something other than the avene cicalfate. Not good for me. Face hot hotter and hotter so skin clinical extreme healing is off my list. Updated on 15 Aug 2017: As indicated at time of service, my face and gotten better and better since the Halo treatment. There is a wonderful smoothing of skin along with a fresh glow. admittedly, I take good care, use good products, always wear sunscreen, etc. but Halo also makes the basic skin tone and texture better.
