I had a life changing experience eight years ago when Dr. Heffernan corrected the flatness under my eyes using fillers. This procedure also corrected the dark circles at the time! I will schedule an appointment for a touch up next week after my 57th birthday!

Dr. Heffernan and his team (Mary) are GREAT!! Mary is very good at the front desk. Dr. Heffernan is the best! His manner is out standing. I saw Dr. Heffernan after I had Mose surgery to repair my right lower eye lid it healed perfectly. I would highly recommend Dr. Heffernan and his staff.

I have seen Dr Tim Heffernan for 20 years because I have two serious and painful Eye diseases He has really helped with super bad dry eyes and performed surgical electrolysis on my right eye that had an eyelash constantly poking me in the eye He cured it I tutor ESL and had a terrible time seeing the students books. He took tons of time and noted that was a strange distance to see.,,. Sharing a book with student. He prescribed readers and advised me to sit behind the student and look over her shoulder And last but not least he referred me to Dr Habibi an optometrist who prescribed special contacts that actually treat dry eyes. My Vision is incredible

My experience couldn't have been better. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful. Dr. Heffernan is patient, professional, listened carefully and did not try to upsell. He did exactly what I asked, and I was very comfortable with his confident manner. Great experience for an initial Fraxel Dual treatment. I'll be back.

I saw Dr Heffernan a few years ago for a blepharoplasty to correct my droopy, aging eyelids and was surprised to learn a year ago that he also does Fraxel treatments in his office. I was nervous to have the first treatment but have now had three and am very happy with the results. I had pigmentation issues, large pores and acne scars. As I've gotten older, all had become more noticeable. The fraxel treatments have really helped even my skin tone and texture and made the pores and acne scars less noticeable. The procedure itself is a little uncomfortable but tolerable. I haven't had any noticeable swelling and was only pink/bronze for a couple days. Skin then felt rough for a few days but was not esp noticeable with moisturizer. The biggest problem I've had were some small raised whiteheads that popped up, mostly around my mouth, but they only lasted a couple days. My skin will never be perfect but I feel much less self-conscious now and have been wearing lighter makeup during the day because I don't need as much coverage. I plan on having 2 or 3 more treatments and then maybe one a year after that for maintenance. It is an investment but I'm really happy that I took the plunge. And Dr Heffernan and his staff are all great. No regrets!

I was a victim of acne hence was left with scarrings on my upper back and chest. I went in to see Dr. Heffernan for couple treatments, with every treatment i've seen more and more improvements. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. I have gained a lot of confidence back ever since my last visit. thank you all!

Dr. Heffernan is a no nonsense-get things done sort of fellow. Office staff are exceptional and very considerate and polite. I had both upper and lower eyelids done. I am very happy with the outcome.

I had a Fraxel treatment done from Dr Heffernan and it was an amazing experience. The staff and Dr Heffernan were very caring and the treatment worked great. I will definitely go back for any future treatment or other facial procedures I need in the future.

In my 50's I discovered I had inherited my mother's eyes. At 64, I decided to fix them. After interviewing three different plastic surgeons, my husband and I agreed it would be Dr. Heffernan, an oculoplastic surgeon. This decision was based on his thorough explanations (yes, part of the problems were inherited), his calm and thoughtful manner, and, frankly because all he does are eyes, so he knows them REALLY well (I fondly call him "my eye guy"). His office and surgical teams are friendly and very professional. The surgery went smoothly, and other than some normal swelling and bruising, I had no down time and took all of four Ibuprofen over the first two days for a slight headache. Three years later, I am still very pleased with the results. Saw him two weeks ago for a tiny bit of BOTOX for squint lines between my eyebrows and crow's feet---what a difference-why didn't I do it three years ago when he suggested it? I am a very happy camper and a big fan of Dr. Heffernan!

His office goes above and beyond to provide a very comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Heffernan is well respected and the results are priceless! (worth every penny ;) Fraxel is the best money you coud spend on a rejuvenated young face.
