Dr. Pratt is an incredible plastic surgeon, with an absolutely phenomenal team, who produce amazing results. I had a breast augmentation on 10/9/2019, but have been in contact with Dr. Pratt and his team since late May. Throughout the consultation, pre-operative, surgical, and post-operativd appointments, Dr. Pratt and his staff have been patient, supportive, and genuine in their care and concern for me, as their patient. I was also very impressed by how readily available, and accessible, Dr. Pratt and his team were to answer any of my questions or concerns throughout the surgical process. Dr. Pratt himself is gentle, knowledgeable, honest, and sincere. He's meticulous with his measurements and honest with his recommendations, considering each patient's unique body type. His surgical results are amazing, and his talents in the operating room are undeniable. For anyone considering plastic surgery, I strongly recommend Dr. Pratt and Pratt Plastic Surgery.
I had my breast augmentation procedure in March 2019. From the start, it was clear Dr. Pratt was focused on giving me the best results possible. He listened to my wishes and recommended options that would help me achieve those wishes. Dr. Pratt and his team were friendly and caring from the first consultation and every appointment after. The office has the option to do CareCredit which makes the cost of surgery a lot less daunting. After my procedure, I got a personal phone call to see how I was feeling and even received flowers from the office. I ended up going with 390CC saline implants which look natural on my frame and body. I love them! If you’re looking into a breast augmentation or any procedure for that matter definitely visit Pratt Plastic Surgery.
I’m surprised at how long the process of healing is, i me I knew it would be rough but this is really rough. I still have so much swollen areas and also deep tissues issues from the lipo...every body heals differently and I get that. It’s frustrating though. I’m 4 weeks PO and I’m feeling better but still have very sensitive areas and not wearing any of my jeans yet for sure. Still swelling quite a bit! But I am slowly starting to see the improvements and what the end result can/will be!
Absolutely fantastic! Dr. Pratt and his team made me feel 100% comfortable throughout the entire process and thoroughly explained everything that he would be doing and answered every question I had. My experience was wonderful and he gave me breasts perfectly proportioned to my body just like had hoped. He did an Amazing job!
I am currently 1 day post mommy makeover! And I already love the results! Dr. Pratt is skilled beyond words! If you want the most beautiful, natural looking breasts look no further than Dr. Pratt. His staff are angels I love them all, Crystal, Olivia, Samantha, The anesthesiologist. They made me feel so safe. Pictures on the way.
I went to Dr. Pratt to remove implants I had gotten 9 years early from the now closed, Avalon Clinic in Lakewood, Wa. Over the course of 9 years I was beginning to noticed changes in my body that couldn't be explained through normal aging/diet/etc. I'm in my early 30's and was beginning to experience hair loss, trouble losing weight, cycle disruption, digestive issues, excessive anxiety and inflammation. I honestly didn't even know I had inflammation until after my surgery when I discovered I lost 1/2 a shoe size! My vision even improved! Since my survey I've begun losing weight, my hair has stopped breaking, my anxiety is all but gone and I have noticed less inflammation in my body. I feel like a weight was lifted off of me and I can finally breath again! I choose Dr. Pratt because of his outstanding reputation, his understanding of my situation and his office staff made me feel comfortable and secure in my decision. I didn't feel pressured or like I was crazy for thinking my implants were linked to what was going on with my body. Everything was clearly laid out for me so I knew exactly what to expect. Crystal assisted with my FMLA paperwork and got everything needed back to my employer in a timely manner which enabled me to focus on my recovery. Olivia was very comforting and reassuring during my procedure and was quick to answer questions or just offer a little advice before and after my surgery. My results speak for themselves and it's clear that Dr. Pratt takes pride in his work and the care of his patients. If you are looking to get implants in or out, I would highly recommend his office. I'm so happy I choose them to help me. I cannot thank Dr. Pratt and his staff enough for the care I have received!
Very pleased with gynecomastia procedure. Did lots of research and looked at before and after pics and Dr Pratt was who my research led me to. My post op results are better than I expected and this was a long time waiting. If you are thinking about doing this do not put it off any longer. Also, Dr Pratt is the man when it comes to this procedure. He is am artist.
After years of wanting breast augmentation surgery, I finally had the ability to do so. A friend recommended Dr. Pratt and his staff. After my consultation I immediately knew that I felt extremely comfortable with them. Dr. Pratt took his time explaining the procedure, his recommendations, measuring, etc. His bedside manner is gentle and listens carefully. Surgery day FINALLY came and couldn't of been happier with my experience. The entire surgery staff was amazing. I was comfortable and the surgery went perfectly. Olivia, Dr. Pratt's nurse called periodically to check on me after. The staff had a beautiful bouquet of flowers sent to my home, which was very thoughtful and sweet. I did have one set back/complication but was closely monitored by both the on call staff, and Olivia Dr. Pratt's R.N. (Dr. Pratt was away). My final results are absolutely fantastic. I am happy and my husband is a huge fan too! ;) Do not hesitate to contact this office, you will not be disappointed. Dr. Pratt, Olivia & Krystal are amazing!
My experience with Dr Pratt was amazing. The staff in the facilities are very professional and kind. Before I came in to have my consultation, I had written down a bunch of questions that I wanted him to answer. Dr Pratt answered everything in my list before I even asked the questions. I got a breast agumentation done. Dr Pratt led me through everything that would happen, before and after the agumentation. He helped me choose out the perfect size for my body. Before this, I haven't ever had anything done so I came in thinking that the situation would make me feel very awkward but to my surprise, I felt very comfortable around him and his staff. The entire experience was pretty amazing. I would and already have recommended him to my friends.
Dr. Pratt was professional and honest about what would look good with my body style. He definitely knows what he is talking about! I had an augmentation and modified lift and I am SO happy with my results. Being an athlete and a coach I was able to get back to the grind within a very reasonable time, taking it step by step. I would highly recommend Dr. Pratt to anyone seeking plastic surgery. He is confident in his work and it shows!
Your photos look very typical of what I see when my early post-op patients come in for their follow-up visits. At this point, the patient needs a great deal of reassurance that it is normal and expected. I like to warn my patients before surgery that this will happen, so they will be prepared and not be completely surprised as you appear to be. I used to worry about it as well, often using a compression band over the top of the implants, hoping to help encourage the implants to move south. However, I no longer us these bands and have found no difference in my outcomes. In fact, a more common problem with breast implants is that the implants continue to migrate downward and bottom out. This can be prevented by wearing a firm, supportive bra the majority of the time that the patient is upright during the healing process. I hope that I have eased your mind a bit. Good Luck!
I always make sure I tell my patients and their family members that, although the implants looked great on the OR table, they are going to look “Horrible” the next day- rising all the way up to the collarbone. This is normal with all types of breast implants and results from the elasticity of the soft tissues of the lower chest and post-operative spasm of the pectoralis muscle, both of which push the implant into the upper reaches of the pocket. Over the first couple of weeks, the pain slowly begins to resolve and the implants will gradually drop to a more reasonable position, but will continue to look funny for approximately 3 months. Between 3 and 6 months after surgery, the tissues will have stretched enough for the implants settle down into their pockets, and the firmness and shininess will slowly resolve. Between 6 and 12 months, they will soften up and take on the consistency and feel of normal breast tissue. I hope that I have answered your questions satisfactorily. Good Luck!
“Gummy Bear” implants are highly cohesive Silicone gel implants, meaning that they are essentially solid molds of a rubbery type material, which in my opinion produces a breast with a consistency that is firmer than normal breast tissue. Since these are Silicone implants, the FDA recommends rupture surveillance every 2 years with MRI exams to monitor for “silent rupture” of the implant. This the main drawback of the gel implants. “Gummy Bear” implants require a larger incision and can be fractured during implantation if a small incision is used. The Ideal Implant is a new revolutionary design in breast implants, that consists of a “structured” design which gives increased integrity of the anterior shell. This feature allows the implant to resist folding, rippling and caving, which are more prominent with traditional saline breast implants. These new implants have a consistency that is similar to Silicone gel implants, however, because they are filled with saline, they do not require rupture surveillance. In the unlikely event that the Ideal Implants do rupture, only harmless saline solution is released and absorbed by the body with no adverse consequences. I hope that I have answered your questions satisfactorily. Good Luck!
I have been using Ideal Implants for breast augmentation for over a year now and have been quite pleased with the results. They appear and feel as natural as gel implants and represent an excellent alternative to the Silicone or Saline breast implants. The secret is in the design of these implants, which have a double lumen and inner baffles which serve to dampen the motion of the saline fill- creating a soft, natural, flowing implant. Also, since the Ideal Implant is a “structured” implant design, they tend to resist the natural tendency of an implant to ripple and cave in the superior pole. The teardrop implants tend to rotate in the pocket, which requires re-operation to correct. Also, they only come in a textured surface, which is generally thicker and less natural feeling. Finally, textured implants are also associated with increased infection rates and the rare Breast Implant Associated Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I hope that I have answered your questions satisfactorily. Good Luck!
Ideal Implants are a good choice for a lean patient such as yourself, since they have a “structured” design, which means the outer shell is more resistant to visible caving and rippling than the shell of a traditional saline implant. I would most likely recommend that you go submuscular in order to give better coverage of the upper portion of the implant which is the area most likely to have visible irregularities. Another important point is to not use an excessively large implant, which will tend to stretch out and thin the overlying soft tissues and skin, leading to a higher likelihood of contour problems. I hope that I have answered your questions satisfactorily. Good Luck!
