I am extremely thrilled with my results from Botox from master nurse injector Jackie Duffy ! She was very knowledgeable with new techniques and definitely has a special eye to enhance your natural beauty ! I will definitely...

Breast reconstruction revision for breast implant removal & bilateral DIEP

As a physician,/surgeon myself, I can honestly say that Dr. Mancoll is a highly skilled surgeon and artist. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery with another surgeon in the area which was botched with several complications and a poor result requiring several reconstruction surgeries. I came to Dr. Mancoll for a second opinion and, in...

BBL on 32 year old face

After years of not taking care of my face the way I should have, I decided to try the BBL laser to correct sun damage, hyperpigmentation left over from blemishes and spider veins. The treatment it self was not bad at all. They numb your face and it is very tolerable. Today was my first treatment. I plan on getting multiple treatments so check back for updates! The morning after, my face has...

Amazing experience, Andrea is the master of her craft.

I went to see Andrea for lip injections. From consultation to follow up she was truly amazing! She did my first Botox treatment as well and I will not hesitate to go back for more. Andrea is the master of her craft.

Q: Is 275cc - 300cc enough with 13.5cm BWD? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. MancollMarch 18, 2023

A: Thank you for question. You have what looks like pretty good quality skin. The bigger an implant you put in the less natural it’s going to look. A 300cc implant certainly could fit your body quite nicely, but I don’t know that you’ll have as natural abreast as someone who has a little more laxity to their skin. But please keep in mind that natural look is a very subjective description and may mean different things to you than it does to me. You can also maintain that same breast width and go with an Implant with more projection if you want a little more size. It may give you more of an augmented look than a natural luck. In my practice, I have the Vectra. 3-D imaging system and we can try different size and shape implants on which can give you a pretty accurate assessment of what your postop look might be. This has been a very helpful tool for patients as they’ve moved forward towards the breast augmentation surgery. Good luck with your breast surgery journey.

Q: 5'6, 138lbs & diastasis recti - is a full tummy tuck still the best option? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. MancollMarch 18, 2023

A: Thank you for your question. Keep in mind a full tummy tuck allows your surgeon to address all the layers of the abdominal wall. While your weight looks like it’s in a good range you do have some of the characteristics of skin laxity that include a hooding of your belly button, some of the wrinkly that I can see around your waist line, which I believe most likely also represents a certain degree of pubic area droopiness. It’s hard to tell if you have a Daya stasis, but that is a critical component of what should be repaired during a tummy tuck. I have a number of patients that I was first look look quite thin but then when you look at their before, and after she can really appreciate how much skin was removed and how much more athletic there abdominal wall now looks. You can look under some of my realself posted photos and see what I’m talking about. Good luck on your body contouring journey. I think you should be able to get an outstanding result. you can look under some of my real self posted photos and see what I’m talking about. Good luck on your body contouring journey. Q: Is this a good result? Age 25, 415cc, HP implant, Allergan (Photos)
Answered by Dr. MancollMarch 18, 2023

A: Thank you for your question. To really be able to answer your question thoroughly I would ask you what your ultimate goals are after surgery. In my practice, I like to have patient show me pictures of their ideal breast, and then based on the results of that would dictate what I would recommend. Looking at your pictures that you’ve posted it looks like your nipples are sitting low to me and a breast lift of some type might offer a significant improvement of our breast shape, and contour. In general, I think you have a good result for what was done but it does seem like your breast tissue swallowed up that 415 cc implant and your overall body size and width could certainly handle more implant depending on the kind of luck you’re looking for. Click on your breast surgery journey.

Q: What can I do to correct the appearance of my stomach? 7 years post tummy tuck, bumpy and uneven (photos)
Answered by Dr. MancollMarch 18, 2023

A: Thank you for your question. The lumpy bumpy of your abdomen most likely is the result of internal scarring. It’s probably made a little bit worse in your case simply by the fact that you are so thin and you don’t have a whole lot of a fatty blanket to hide this irregularities. One of the things that can be done is to go back into surgery and simply do an equalization technique. With the help of a basket cannula that might allow for freeing up and stretching of the internal scar tissue and then hopefully it would be a smoother. Frequently, in cases like this, if I can also add some fat and a fat grafting technique once you freed up the space and scar tissue, then put the fat in to hopefully allow it to heal in a smoother way. I would tell most people that I could get about a 50% improvement from where you are right now with this technique. Another option might be to just go back and redo the tummy tuck. The downside of that would include a little longer recovery. The stiffness and lack of excess skin in the abdominal wall. At this point in your life, probably would not allow for a lot of skin removal, and as a result, the defect where the belly button is, will most likely have to be close is an up-and-down scar along the midline of your lower abdomen. It’s also very possible the tissues are stiff enough that it’s not gonna move much at all, in which case you could just do a float technique of the belly button, and then simply open it up to release the scar tissue, put a little bit tighter and then re-close. I would discuss all of these options with you if you are in my office considering surgery. Good luck on your body contouring journey.

Q: Not done having children yet. What would my options be to treat my love handles and pubic fat area? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. MancollMarch 18, 2023

A: Thank you for your question. Even though you may have plans to get pregnant down, the road, liposuction is an option. Life360 can be done to help improve contour of your Admin waist, upper and lower back. I might also suggest using some of that fat to fill in the flat spots on the sides of your hip any of the buttock area. Well pregnancy may ultimately cause your body to gain weight and some areas. The general shape created by liposuction will be preserved and then if you’re done having kids, a tummy tuck would be a nice way to restore the shape and contour of your abdomen. Good luck on your body contouring journey.
