As I began researching surgeons to repair my diastasis recti post-childbirth, I quickly placed Dr. Stanwix at the top of my list, even though that would require traveling across the country. His impressive education and experience are surpassed only by his kind and compassionate care. He and his staff took all the time I needed to discuss my surgical options and address all my questions and concerns. I knew my health and my body were in the best hands possible, and I can assure you that I would not have gone through with the procedure if I had not truly believed that. After my surgery (which included abdominoplasty, liposuction, and breast augmentation), my recovery went amazingly well. I was up and walking the same day, and had virtually no pain. I believe Dr. Stanwix's team and his anesthesiologist, a remarkable doctor in her own right, are to thank for that. My surgery was a fantastic success. I love my body. I love my shape. I love that I have been able to return to walking, running, exercising and that I can now exceed my prior fitness and strength goals. I got Breast Implants in September 2009. For the last 5 years I have been experiencing pain, numbness, and tingling in my left arm. Sometimes numbness in my right arm. Also, the skin on my neck and face has been red and blotchy. I read up on causes and ran across people talking about breast implant illness. I went to my primary care doctor she ran different blood tests. She found no issues. I researched having my implants removed. I searched for a surgeon to repair my breast muscles. I found Dr. Stanwicx. I went for a consultation back in April 2022. He is very knowledgeable. I decided to go forward with my surgery. Surgery is on October 14, 2022. Doctor Stanwicx and his surgery team at West Creek Surgery Center In Richmond, Virginia are the best!! My surgery went perfect. My pain isn't that bad. I had to be at the surgical center at noon but my appointment wasn’t until 1:30pm. When I arrived I met all the staff who would be there during my procedure. Everyone was very kind and made me feel very comfortable!

This was a pleasant experience from initial consultation to post-operative follow-up. Dr. Stanwix is extremely detail oriented, focused on patient safety, personable, and excellent at communication. Best advice I can provide is have realistic expectations and be prepared for the recovery it is no cake walk! For me, I wanted reduction of stretch marks and loose skin post-partum. I was extremely pleased with my results. It is very important that as a patient you do your part to optimize your health going into the surgery. You will hurt, you will have drains, and you will need to be active in order to prevent complications. The most difficult task for me were the daily blood thinner injections to prevent clots post-operative. The nursing staff give you excellent guidance pre-operatively, listen well and follow instructions. I have zero regrets about having this surgery and I would recommend Dr. Stanwix to anyone even remotely considering it.

Having my procedures done by Dr. Stanwix was the best decision I made! He is genuinely caring, and took all the time I needed to answer all of my questions. After losing over a 100lbs, he gave me by body back. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, and chin lipo; I went in with realistic expectations, but he exceeded my wildest dreams. I am beyond thrilled with my amazing results, and cannot recommend him enough!

Dr. Stanwix is excellent and sn extremely knowledgeable Doctor!! He is very attentive and pays very close attention to detail. I was in great hands when I got a breast fat transfer with Dr. Stanwix. He did an awesome job! He helped me regain alot of my confidence I lost after my breast looked deflated from breastfeeding. I highly recommend him and his team!! Dr. Stanwix is AMAZING.!! He answered all my questions i had through the entire time from consultation to surgery. He and his staff are amazing. They made me feel really comfortable at the time of surgery which was 5-28-21. If i had to do it all over again i would. Thank you Dr. Stanwix for making my life dream come true. My entire experience with Dr. Stanwix and his office has been beyond my expectations! I had an enbloc, full lift, fat transfer and tummy tuck. His confidence is absolutely reassuring and never ever arrogant. His bedside manner is incredible. I've found him to be genuinely kind and caring. I have not once felt rushed or like just another patient. From initial consultation to my follow up appointments everyone has been accessible for questions and always prompt with responses. I am over the moon with my results! I was extremely worried about how I would look after the explant since I have tubular breasts. This is the main reason why I got implants to begin with. After my implant exchange, I experienced neurological symptoms immediately. I experienced numbness in my limbs and after two weeks I started falling and dropping things. From there on I developed multiple symptoms. I was checked for MS and thankfully I was clear.After that, I knew I had to get my implants out! I found Dr. Stanwix and had to wait a few months for my consultation. It was completely worth it! He helped me so much in many ways, I am extremely grateful for him. He spends the time with you to answer all of your questions. He did such an amazing job on my breasts! You can't even tell that I had tubular breasts! My liposuction looks great, he liposuctioned my flanks, thighs, and stomach. He created hips for me and made my butt pop! l am very petite but somehow he was able to add 400cc to my right breast and 350cc to my left! I want to say about 85 to 90% of the fat stayed. I have zero lumps and my breasts look so natural! I love my breasts more than my implants! He also performed extensive muscle repair on me. I am so much stronger now. I am blown away, I never realized how weak I was. I can actually lift up my duvet blanket easily and I can open up bottle caps! I've had quite a few plastic surgeons and Dr. Stanwix is by far the best! I highly recommend him and I will be going to him for anything else I need!

In December of 2020, Dr.Stanwix removed my 12 year old breast implants and also gave me a full breast lift. After years of struggling with health related issues and researching specialists in the breast explant with En Bloc Capsulectomy procedure, I found Dr. Stanwix. He is a true expert in the safe removal of implants; performing the en bloc capsulectomy, ensuring to remove the scar tissue that can become toxic within the body around the implant. I’m happy to say that I’m 100% satisfied with my results! My smaller breasts are still beautiful after my breast lift, and I feel like he helped restore the overall quality of my health.
