Dr. Bridges performed my septorhinoplasty about 6 months ago. I am incredibly grateful and happy for the work and artistry he performed. I finally have the nose I wish I was born with, and couldn’t be happier. I had consultations with 3 other leading surgeons who specialized in rhinoplasty prior to booking with Dr. Bridges, and ended up choosing him due to his commitment to natural looking results, closed approach and dual background in ENT. The last thing I wanted was a second revision rhinoplasty or worse breathing than what I started out with. He was worth what I paid ($12,500) and I have no regrets. I highly recommend going with a doctor who can do the closed approach (“anything done open can be done closed!” lol) - I think that it really made all the difference in terms of recovery. I was completely bruise free within 2 weeks and going out much sooner before that. No outward scars, no infection, no complications, and within about 1-2 months post-op there were no obvious traces of swelling. At 6 months I feel like I’m finally getting the really pretty tip definition promised and it’s getting nicer and more refined every day. So overall 4.5 stars- 5 stars for the work itself-1 star off for some hiccups with the office and the generally cold bedside manner of the Doctor. He’s obviously very talented, and takes his work seriously, but there were a few moments in both consultations and the office visits that were gruff and curt on his part. I don’t think he meant to be, and I tried to remember that he sees a ton of patients who are influenced by unrealistic social media beauty standards that is probably annoying after a while, but I would’ve appreciated the visits feeling less rushed so I could ask questions and have a natural discourse and more opportunity to give input into the mockups prior to surgery. My nose turned out great anyway, but I had a lot of anxiety especially waiting to go into my surgery, and I think I would’ve felt more comfortable and trusting with him if it didn’t feel like he was rushing out of the room. It’s a very personal and sensitive thing to be trusting someone else with a major procedure that you have to look at every day, so I just hope he can not become apathetic towards that fact due to a few bad apples. At the end of the day, he did a great job and it was worth every penny.

In my teens, a mishap left my nose with a slight deviation and fractured. As the years passed, my nasal deviation worsened, turning my nose into something akin to a wilted flower. The wake-up call came when my partner nudged me about my snoring, which our Tempur-Pedic bed confirmed was a nightly disruption to my sleep. On the hunt for solutions, I consulted multiple surgeons in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills scene, all pushing for surgery, mostly via open rhinoplasty. Yet, upon closer inspection, I noticed subtleties in their work that didn't sit right with me, prompting further delay. It was upon my return to Virginia that I stumbled upon Dr. Bridges' impressive track record, particularly in closed rhinoplasty procedures... books a consult and the rest is history! Photos to come.

For the past few years I’ve been watching the lines on my face getting deeper and jowls forming. It was when I started to see my neck sagging that it was time to get a consultation. On December 13, 2023 I had a deep plane facelift and I haven’t regretted it at all. Dr Bridges is simply the best facial surgeon. His bedside manner is excellent and he ensures you understand everything fully. I followed his instructions for preparation and recovery and I had minimal bruising and swelling.

Amazing doctor. One of the very few in the area that does closed rhinoplasty, which is a new procedure. It heals much quicker and unlike open, the incision is inside the nose and not external/between the nostrils. Dr. Bridges listened to what I wanted. I was not interested in a drastic and too obvious of a change, but I did want the bump removed. I am 57 years old and wish I had done this decades ago. I am so pleased with the results. Everyone I have seen is really impressed and agree while it looks better, it is very subtle so I don't have to explain myself when I see people. Dr. Bridges, Joan - his Manager and the whole staff were wonderful to work with.

Very long story short, between ages 15 and 50, I broke my nose twice and had two surgeries, and then in 2019, filler on the bridge of my nose. That did not go well, as after three months it started to migrate into a ball on the bridge of my nose. The doctor where I live injected it several times over two months to dissolve the filler, but it just didn’t want to go away. Finally, it did, but about a month later I noticed my nose curving to the right and a big divot on the left, as well as my bridge looked like it was sinking. I think all of the injections in my nose destabilized it. This continued to worsen over the next couple of years. For three years off and on, I scoured the Internet for revision rhinoplasty surgeons. One day, I read a review from one of Dr. Bridges’ patients that really hit home with me and when I looked to see where Dr. Bridges is located, I couldn’t believe he is in my hometown where my parents still live. I had a virtual consultation and ended up scheduling the surgery. I was so nervous because I knew that no matter what the outcome, this had to be the last nose surgery of my life. It’s been almost 5 months now since my surgery, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I barely had any pain compared to my two other surgeries and although I know I must still have swelling, even I cannot notice it. He had to use some fascia from behind my ear to create a little padding since I am thin skinned and my nose is bony. It healed perfectly. I honestly don’t believe I could have gone to a doctor anywhere who could have done a better job. I am in my mid 50s and happier with my nose than I’ve ever been in my life. I would recommend Dr. Bridges to anyone!

I had a facelift done last August, and I had substantial scarring, pixie ears, and I did not get the results that I was hoping for. I went to Dr. Bridges for a consultation for a revision procedure. I really liked him. He was straightforward. He seem to be very honest and told me what he thought he could do to help improve my situation. I took a few weeks to think about it and made my decision to go forward and scheduled my surgery For May 2023. My surgery went smooth. My recovery was almost pain-free, and my results are absolutely fantastic. I could not be happier! When he took off my bandages the he next day I could have cried I was so excited to see my new neck (just the way I imagined it in my mind) and there it was! On my body not just in some photograph I had seen. It was really me and I had to pinch myself over and over again !! I highly recommend Dr. Bridges and his staff. They are all amazing, compassionate, and incredibly professional! The one thing that stood out the most was when I wanted Dr. Bridges to do a revision of my previous upper/ lower eyelid surgery (done by another surgeon) and he told me that he did not think that he was the man for that job because I had some other complications with my first surgery and referred me to Virginia Eye Institute to see a specialist there that could take excellent care of me. It meant the world to me that he didn’t just say sure I can do it and go ahead and do it. He took a look and gave me an honest answer and an immediate referral. He did not leave me hanging. I have so much respect for him for that alone! He is a skilled and talented surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for RESULTS and the BEST possible outcome!! Updated on 29 Jun 2023: This pic is week four (after my neck lift) and I’m feeling fabulous!!! I also had my lips done by Dr. Bridges a week ago and I’m just loving my new look! I still can’t believe that this is MY neck!!! I am so darn happy! This procedure has changed the way I feel about myself! I am no longer insecure about my appearance and my self esteem has been lifted!! I’m still running to the mirror when I wake up to make sure this is not a dream!!

I have wanted a rhinoplasty since about 14 years old, I have hated my nose for so long. I initially went to a few consultations as an 18 year old and got nervous and never went through with it. I started looking seriously again and had a few consultations before Dr. Bridges. I really liked the fact that he was also and ENT. I didn't have an opinion on closed vs open before talking to him, but after speaking with him about his specialty, I felt closed was the way to go! I felt really great about the consult and booked the appointment. I am so extremely happy with my results. I have always just wanted a "normal nose" and just to not be thinking of my nose 24/7. Dr. Bridges really changed my life! I am in love with my new nose!

I spent early a year researching before deciding on Dr. Bridges for my rhinoplasty, so I wanted to pay it forward and share my experience to help others who are searching for the perfect surgeon. I had my closed rhinoplasty done with Dr. Bridges over 6 months ago and I am absolutely in love with my new nose. After my first consultation with Dr. Bridges, I knew he was the right surgeon and scheduled my nose job days later. His work as an ENT put me at ease, because he not only has an eye for aesthetics, but he regularly fixes and restores breathing problems in his patients. I also was drawn to the fact that he exclusively performs closed (scarless) rhinoplasties, because it causes less trauma to the tissues in the nose. He took time to listen to me and understand what bothered me about my nose, and gave me exactly what I wished for- a nose that is feminine, refined, and still looks like I was born with it. Despite performing an osteotomy (breaking the nasal bones) and filing down the hump in my nose, most of my bruising subsided within 4 days of my operation. I have a very low pain tolerance, and I was surprised that the recovery was as easy as it was. A few Tylenol for the first few days was enough to manage the discomfort, and the worst part was just the stuffiness and inability to breathe through my nose. I am now six months post-op, and absolutely thrilled with my result! Dr. Bridges created a nose that perfectly fits the rest of my features, while maintaining a look that is so natural, no one would ever know that I've had work done. The nose he gave me is the nose that I truly feel like I was meant to have all along. I would chose Dr. Bridges a thousand times again, he is a true artist and incredibly caring, talented, and skilled. Thank you for everything, Dr. Bridges!

Dr Bridges is by far the most skilled, empathetic, knowledgeable facial cosmetic surgeon in the country! I feel so lucky that he is right here in Richmond VA! Couldn’t ha e asked for better care and results!

Simply a fantastic experience from start to finish. Dr. Bridges performed close-nosed surgery on me, and honestly, my nose looks amazing. Let me start by saying that I had a complicated nose. My nose was very long, pointed, had a ball on one side, and leaned strongly to the right. It had gotten worse with age (43) and was causing a lot of sinus difficulty on the left side. I saw numerous doctors in Los Angeles who consistently told me that my nose was a 9 out of 10 in complexity. Some doctors wanted to do two surgeries, one with a sinus doctor and one with a plastic surgeon. Other doctors wanted to do full open rhinoplasty to completely rebuild my nose, which made me nervous. I found Dr. Bridges online and immediately liked that he could handle both the sinus issues and the look/ shape. His team was very friendly and put me at ease, having never done any type of surgery myself. They listened to my worries and needs and set me up with amazing vitamins and supplements to minimize bruising. I had no bruising after one week. They were great with follow-ups throughout the year. It's been over a year now, and my sinus issues are gone. It still ever so slightly veers to the right, which makes it look natural. Most people don't even notice. While I did get rhinoplasty, I would highly recommend him for any facial surgery. He was calm, thorough, and made me feel great throughout the entire experience. I can't recommend him enough. He was a serious miracle-worker!
