Dr. Anderson is an angel sent to us from the medical gods. I trust Dr. Anderson so much that not only would I follow her into hell if she asked me to go, I would pull up Google Maps to find us the fastest way there. There are not enough adjectives in the world for me to describe how phenomenal she is a physician and as a human being. Kind, compassionate, patient, funny. Smart, extraordinarily skilled.
I'll let the B&A below do all the talking. My implants are mentor 355 MP anatomical unders. My brachioplasty and mastopexy w/ augmentation was on September 3, 2019 at the Inova Fair Oaks ambulatory center in Fairfax, VA. I'm told the overall surgery was about ~5 hours.
The first week I felt like complete kaka. Through this time, Dr. Anderson was so supportive and responsive with any questions I had. She also gave me and my mom (who was taking care of me) her personal cell phone and asked that we directly contact her with concerns. We did have to do that twice due to a 100.8 post-op fever on day 2 and a lot of post-op swelling. I got percocet and celebrex to help me through the recovery period. My mom, also a nurse, had me off the percocet like a drill sergeant by day 5 or 6 and I've been on acetaminophen solely since then. Today is day 16 and the mornings are still pretty sore for me until the AM tylenol kicks in.
I am 32 y/o, 5'3", and hover around 140 - 145 lbs. and have lost ~150 lbs. from my highest weight back in 2005. The sacks of skin and tissue that hung where my breasts were supposed to be would fall into my arm pits when I laid down. I also need to mention that my areolae are not actually triangular, that's just the post-op tape.
Amazing. Holy cow.
