Had saline implants put in at 19 and over the course of 10 years they started to not look as great, one kind of hung over the implant and I realized that one just didn’t really drop into place but I didn’t start to notice it until I got older and my breasts started to travel. Dr Poindexter did an AMAZING job with my breast revision and swapped my saline for silicone, and they look incredible and super natural, 10/10 would recommend for any type of breast surgery.

I am tall and slim, but childbearing caused diastasis recti that left me looking pregnant by the end of the day. About 1 year ago, I had an initial full TT with muscle repair by another surgeon. I had an unexpected complication (prolonged post-operative ileus) which caused multiple issues and left my abdomen so unsightly that I could barely look at it. I interviewed 4 additional surgeons in my quest for a revision. During my consult with Dr. Poindexter, I was impressed with his approach. He was thoughtful and thorough, even brainstorming with one of his colleagues about my case and ideas about surgical plans and how we could avoid the ileus by changing the anesthesia cocktail. Almost one year to the day from my original surgery, I had the revision with Dr. Poindexter. We went into the OR with plans A, B, and C, all of which depended on what he found when he uncovered my abdominal wall. He found that my previous muscle repair had split completely, that I had a thick pseudo-bursa above my belly button, but that my belly button was salvageable (thank God). He conducted a repair of all of the issues and gave me a beautiful incision and a very attractive belly button. Given what he had to work with from my previous complications, it is miraculous that I have such an amazing result. I had ZERO complications this time around and pain was managed with gabapentin and Celebrex (no narcotics). I am currently 6 weeks post-op and have been completely cleared for resuming all activities. I will update with photos when they are taken at my 12-week follow-up. Many, many thanks to Dr. Poindexter, his coordinator Heather, the stellar anesthesiologist, and all of the wonderful nurses who provided excellent care. I am so very grateful and will be back for future procedures.

So absolutely out of this world delighted with the results from Dr. Byron Poindexter at Austin-Weston. Not only is he an incredibly talented doctor for breast augmentation through fat grafting, but a genuinely kind doctor who cares for his patients' well-being. He is not only experienced but is thorough and comprehensive in providing you the best results. Throughout the process, it is evident that Austin-Weston is the leading expert in cosmetic surgery as demonstrated by Dr. Poindexter. I wish I had found him earlier in my journey. I will forever be a patient of Dr. Poindexter.

I'm not one that wanted major changes so I came with uncertainty in what I was specifically looking for but more a general idea of what I wanted to improve. The entire staff from the front desk, consultants, technicians, to doctors were all so friendly and helpful in educating me on the different factors and were patient with me through every question I had along the process. I met with my consultant Wilma and Dr. Poindexter several times before scheduling a date and got many opportunities to talk in-person and over the phone. Especially with COVID19, the facility took extra measures to ensure everyone's safety and sent me frequent tips and reminders for me to be responsible as well. They sincerely listened to all my concerns both minor and major and made me feel really comfortable about my decision. Even the rest of the staff involved in the operation were so friendly and hilarious and the recovery process went so smoothly thanks to all the preparations of the team. The result is so subtle and delicate yet so amazing and I wish I can keep coming back!

I went to the Austin-Weston Center for a BA and had a wonderful experience! I thoroughly enjoyed working with a Patient Consultant at the start to help me make decisions regarding my aesthetic and desired results. I went to Dr. Poindexter for corrective surgery on a procedure that was performed at another cosmetic surgery location. I wished I found Dr. Poindexter at Austin-Weston, the Center for Cosmetic Surgery sooner. Dr. Poindexter is not only a highly skilled and experienced plastic surgeon, but he is compassionate, caring, and an incredibly kind doctor. He took the time to explain the various options and truly gave me hope. Dr. Poindexter and his entire team made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the procedure. Everything went well, had minimal pain, and the RESULTS are amazing. I chose Austin-Weston not only because of the many 5-star reviews, but the background and incredible experience of the doctors. I just got breast augmentation yesterday and I'm already so thrilled with the results! Pain is manageable, more annoying than anything. Haven't taken off the post-surgery bra yet but I'll give updates as the weeks go on! I got 650 cc silicone gummy bears with a high profile, over the muscle because I am a bodybuilder! Updated on 21 May 2020: I got my stitches out yesterday, feeling great about my results. They’re finally settling slightly and I have such minimal scarring so far! My feeling is returning to both nipples, although my left side is very very sensitive and easily irritated by fabrics/touch. Finally got to try on a sports bra-needless to say I was definitely able to take out the extra padding Updated on 21 May 2020: Updated on 6 Jun 2020: I had my first baby 6 months ago and my breasts were extremely deflated after breastfeeding. Very happy with my results! I am still wearing tape on my incisions for the next 2 weeks, I have my 6 week post op then and I will be removing the tape and getting scar cream. 650 cc/gummy bear/over muscle Updated on 12 Jun 2020: One month after surgery! 650 cc silicone, high profile, overs. Can't stop looking at them! Healing has been so quick! They're settling so well and I cannot wait for the tape to come off. Just a few more days!

I attended a seminar for this practice in March of 2019. I met Dr. Poindexter who answered many questions I had about getting a neck lift, liposuction, and a breast scar revision. I completed my surgery in December 2019. I was so excited to go through the process with this surgery center and Dr. P since my last few surgeries were at the hospital with a big production. This center is staffed correctly, sanitized, and a much better location to perform these voluntary procedures. Dr. Poindexter is very calming, direct, and to the point and you won't be disappointed. He removed my extra chin skin and jowl area and contoured my stomach, back, and even fixed a breast scar. I will return to finish my future procedures with him for implants and underarm extra skin soon. The only regret I have is not finding him years ago. I made the right decision.

I was so nervous but very excited. I had always had lopsided breasts and one was always larger then the other since I was 16. In 2017 I gained a lot of weight, the only plus to this was my boobs got bigger and I loved it. In early 2019 I decided to lose the weight and lost 40 plus pounds. When I did that though it made my boobs symmetry even worse and they went back to the small size. I hated wearing swimsuits and tight shirts. I never felt like I could ever wear a shirt without a bra. Since 2012 I had wanted a breast augmentation, so I decided why wait longer. I have the money and I deserve this! So I looked around in my area and had consultations with several plastic surgeons. I saw around 6 doctors. All had different price quotes, most all said I needed a lift in one breast and all said there was a noticeable size difference. Price wasn't a factor for me. I wanted to make sure I picked a Doctor that I felt comfortable with but also someone who had a lot of experience. My doctor pick was a no brainer. I picked Dr. Poindexter at the Austin-Weston Center. We went over size options and a lift plan that I was happy with. I ended up having a Mastopexy with a Breast Augmentation under the muscle. I chose silicone implants; 415cc in the left breast and 485cc in the right breast. Additionally, I paid a few hundred more for a pain pump that Bad through my surgery site into my muscles and it delivered a local anesthetic to help with pain after surgery. It stayed in about 5 days after surgery and helped tremendously (I'd highly recommend it). I didn't have to take any of the pain meds I was prescribed. Updated on 2 Feb 2020: Wow, day 4 was definitely the wort with pain. I thought I’d share the not so glamorous side of healing. The bruising took about 2 weeks to fully clear up. They bruising itself never hurt to touch! The 1 week my breast were hard as rocks. I’ll admit I was nervous that they wouldn’t soften up (don’t worry they will). It was mostly painful to lift my arms up past shoulder height and when getting myself up from the couch or bed. Day 5 my pain pump ran out of meds so I took tat out at home with the help of my mom. I’d highly recommend this pump, it was amazing. Removing it was weird. The tube is placed and wrapped in the breast. So I ended up pulling 5-6 inches of tubing out from each breast.
