I had a rhinoplasty / septoplasty with Dr. Mushtaq and I am so pleased with my experience and my results! I consulted with many plastic surgeons/ENTs in the DC area and I felt most comfortable and in the best hands with Dr. Mushtaq. He helped me understand the possibilities and realistic expectations of our aesthetic plan from the beginning and that really helped me feel confident and reassured going into the surgery. My bruising was minimal and I didn’t really have any pain. He really is an artist, my nose fits my proportions perfectly and I feel like I have a model’s nose. My double deviated septum is now corrected and I can finally breathe. In the months post op my life is so improved, I can jog longer without being winded because I can actually get enough oxygen through my nose. My confidence has sky rocketed and I truly think the aesthetic outcome of the rhinoplasty fits my face and personality so well. His staff is very friendly and I honestly am really really happy I chose Dr. Mushtaq!

I’m compelled to respond to a previous negative review. I found exactly the opposite in my dealings with Dr Mushtaq. He is is a compassionate, personable perfectionist who is highly qualified and I immediately felt confidence in the doctor and with his staff. He spent an inordinate amount of time with me on my initial free consultation and all dealings afterwards. It is incomprehensible how someone could state Dr Mushtaq is not a plastic surgeon. His credentials of: internship at John Hopkins, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Emory, multiple board certifications plus multiple fellowships speak knowledge and experience. All patients are in competent hands

Please listen carefully, Dr. Mushtaq is not a plastic surgeon so don’t let him fool you! Do not let him perform surgery on your face! He destroyed my nose, left me with permanent deformities and I will never be the same. I have spent over 30k out of my own pocket to have another surgeon fix the damage that he caused to my face. I contacted his office many times, begged him to remedy the situation and he was condescending and rude. I have been hospitalized many times for serious infections and I now have permanent scarring. I had a promising career in modeling and now my dreams are crushed. I trusted that he knew what he was doing and this was the worst mistake of my life. I cannot stand the sight of my face in the mirror not to mention the mental anguish I have experienced as a result of this terrible experience.
