I perform several types of facelifts at my London practice, including a standard SMAS lift, a SMASectomy, a high SMAS lift, a deep plane facelift, and a mini-lift. A facelift should not be standard; it should be tailored to each person to suit their facial rejuvenation goals. Rather than focus on one technique, it’s best to find an experienced facelift surgeon who can discuss fully the particular features you’re concerned about. Neck lift surgery might also be considered to treat various ageing issues and provide balanced rejuvenation across the lower face, down through the neck. Adjunctive procedures, such as fat transfer, can restore lost volume and refine the results in a very natural way. It’s not unusual for me to perform facelifts on patients in their 40s, to address signs of aging like skin laxity in the cheek area and along the jawline, and volume loss in the cheeks.

Rhinoplasty and Nose Shaping

Rhinoplasty, which permanently refines the shape of the nose, is one of the more technically challenging cosmetic surgical procedures. If performed inappropriately, it’s extremely difficult to put right. I know because I perform a lot of revision rhinoplasty surgery to correct suboptimal results. It’s crucial to choose an experienced surgeon who will carefully plan how to achieve the result you desire—and one that’s harmonious with your other facial features. As a rhinoplasty specialist, I’ve performed thousands of nose surgeries in my London office. I’m especially adept at achieving natural ethnic rhinoplasty results. Recently, I introduced a major advancement in nasal surgery: ultrasonic rhinoplasty, using an instrument that emits ultrasonic energy to precisely and gently reshape the bone. The ultrasonic energy is very specifically directed to the bone, so that soft tissues are unaffected. This results in improved healing time with minimal swelling and bruising.
