I couldn’t tell you how nervous I was and how happy I was to have picked this surgeon in this office for my procedure the results are natural and beautiful and I couldn’t be happier 10 out of 10..

Travelling to London from Australia was certainly a big decision to undergo surgery. Why would anyone go this distance you may ask ? When your face is being operated on taking a few weeks out should be no big deal so for me finding the right surgeon for me was the top priority. I had a particularly difficult situation having had previous neck surgery for a cancer with some scars on one side of my neck already and having had radiotherapy on that side in the past. No surgeon in Australia would operate on me giving reasons of a high risk of the skin dying in the neck with a face and neck lift. One of the surgeons I consulted with had been trained by Dr Chana in London and he recommended that I at least have an opinion from Dr Chana since he is an expert head and neck reconstructive surgeon by training who also is one of the best at facelift surgery in London. So I went ahead with an online consultation in the middle of the night. This is what gave me a glimmer of hope since he was so reassuring on the call. He had explained that he had operated on similar difficult cases in the past with success. So after much deliberation I made the decision to take a few weeks out of my life and travel all that way to London. On arrival I met Mr Chana and had another explanation of the plan which would be a deep plane facelift and necklift. He explained that a deep plane facelift does not lift the skin but the deeper tissues so the skin is protected especially in the region of my previous scars. I also had radiotherapy to the neck skin and the skin was damaged for which he recommended stem cell fat injections. This had never been suggested to me despite nunerous previous consultations in Australia. So I went ahead with this. Surgery was long , all about 6 hours much longer than I expected but Dr Chana explained this was due to a lot of previous scarring on one side of the neck from my previous surgery. I stayed in hospital one night and if you are scared of pain from this surgery as I was, dont be. It is not painful even in my difficult situation. All I felt was tightness which then resolved over the next two weeks. The recovery was easy to cope with even with me not being in my own home having to stay in a hotel for 3 weeks. The surgery was a complete success and the appearance much better than I had hoped for. Getting on the plane 3 weeks later to go home nobody would notice I had been through a 6 hour surgery. Returning home was a relief and each week you feel better. The result just got better month after month and I honestly look ten to 15 years younger in a natural way. The most incredible and unexpected change has been from the stem cell injections into the skin. The areas which had been damaged by my previous radiotherapy have improved so much the skin looks almost back to normal. It is softer and the hard areas and pigmentation have disappeared. Even the obvious cancer scars on my neck have improved to the point where they have almost disappeared. Dr Chana is a miracle worker ! . He has corrected the damage to my face from my previous cancer treatment and at the same time the result from the facelift and necklift is incredible. He has given me back my life for which I will forever be grateful. I am writing this 5 years after the surgery since I recently had a 10 year follow up appointment for my cancer where the doctors could not believe the result from Dr Chana's work. I am lucky now to be cancer free after 10 years and 5 years after my facelift I still look incredible. If you have a difficult situation then Dr Chana certainly has the experience to treat you. And if you don't have a difficult situation like mine and are just having a facelift for normal ageing your results under Dr Chana are going to be simply amazing. If you want an honest, approachable and highly experienced surgeon you need to see Dr Chana wherever you are.

I chose Dr Chana based on some reviews here that a lot of doctors go to him for their facial surgery and treatments. So I thought they must know something more than others about his experience. They are right ! In fact on the day of my consultation I was sitting next to a General Practitioner who had his eyes operated on by Dr Chana and was so happy and this was the most reassuring experience for me at the anxious time of waiting to go in for a consultation. There was no need to be anxious since Dr Chana is very easy and approachable. He explained everything and gave me so much more information than other consultations about a facelift and necklift. The whole team are lovely to deal with and not pushy. I did not want my eyes or brow doing and he did not try to push me into this like other surgeons. The experience from consultation to surgery was so professional and I spoke with Dr Chana again on a zoom call a couple of weeks before surgery. He likes to see everyone twice and it was comforting to have a few more questions answered before the day. His nurse Katie is always available and also spoke to me before surgery about the preparation and what was going to happen afterwards with the recovery. Nure Katie was also so kind to me on the day of surgery which helped a lot to steady the nerves. This day went so quick and before you know it , it is all over. As soon as the bandages were off the next day I almost cried since the result was unbelievable. Only a touch of bruising and swelling and could see a tight jawline for the first time in years. I must have phoned nurse Katie several times a week even after the stitches came out but this was never a problem. During the whole process I felt so looked after and supported. I have not looked back and I am so glad I found Dr Chana after years of research and am so glad I took the decision to go with Dr Chana I have had so many compliments about how well I look which has done wonders for my confidence. If you are thinking about this I would recommend Dr Chana. His results are amazing and natural which is what I have ended up with. !

Mr Chana performed a breast reduction on me in November 2023.
