Breast Surgery
My advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery makes me uniquely qualified to tailor an optimal treatment plan to meet your aesthetic goals. Breast augmentation with implants is a popular choice for my patients, but I’m also one of the very few surgeons in the UK who frequently performs lipomodelling, also known as fat transfer breast augmentation, using the patient’s own fat. A breast uplift (mastopexy) can lift sagging breasts, with or without augmentation. Any of these procedures can also be combined with nipple and areola correction. Post-Pregnancy Procedures
A mommy makeover combines two or more primary operations: breast enhancement and tummy tuck (aka abdominoplasty). The procedure aims to address the areas of a woman’s body altered by pregnancy and breastfeeding. In many cases, it can be challenging to “bounce back” to that pre-pregnancy form without medical intervention. For instance, a woman may often experience drooping breasts or lax skin around her abdomen. These issues cannot be addressed with simple diet and exercise, since the body has undergone such extreme change in a short period of time. Dr. Fazel obtained his bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery, and medical assistant degrees from the University of Cambridge, where he was awarded the University Prize in Surgery. He went on to a series of prestigious fellowships to hone his technique. An initial fellowship at the Nottingham Plastic and Breast Reconstruction Unit was followed by a second with the Royal College of Surgeons, which allowed him to hone his expertise in cosmetic surgeries under the guidance of leading plastic surgeons in the United Kingdom. His final fellowship, in international cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, was completed in the United States alongside internationally heralded aesthetic and plastic surgeons.
