Sherif Wilson, FRCS (Plast)

I had over 2.7kg of breast tissue removed, and 2.7kg of fat through lipo to my abdomen and flanks. Mr Wilson was incredibly sensitive, gentle and professional throughout and I felt in very safe hands. There was no arrogance or sales tactics at all, just genuine consideration of what was best for me. He did not offer any assurances of what size he could reduce me to and although this meant I didn't have any certainty, I am now convinced this was the best approach, having heard lots of stories of people who felt mis-sold by false assurances. I was really surprised at how bad the lipo pain and bruising was during day 2 to 4 and also by the weight he removed from my breasts - I was expecting far less to be possible. Considering everything that was included in this procedure I think it was good value for money. I had my consultations in Bristol but my operation at Bath Clinic where everyone was lovely. Highly recommend all round.

Sherif Wilson is a wonderful, kind man and I cannot put into words how over the moon I am with my results. I am now 5 months post op and the whole process from my first consultation to now has been fantastic. Dr. Sherif and his team were nothing short of amazing from the moment I booked my consultation. I met Dr. Sherif twice before my surgery. He was thorough and provided all the details, which instantly put me at ease. He never rushed me into any decisions and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask all my questions. Kim and Lily were incredibly efficient in providing follow-up documentation and were extremely helpful in answering questions and booking appointments. My procedure took place at Nuffield Health in Bristol, and I only have great things to say! The staff were incredible—friendly, positive, and accommodating to every request. I couldn’t be happier with my results, and my recovery is going really well. I couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon to finally make me feel confident in my body. I truly cannot sing Dr. Sherif’s praises highly enough!

I chose Mr Wilson after researching gynaecomastia surgery local to me in Bristol. I have had issues with my breasts since my teenage years and as I got older, the condition seemed to worsen. Mr Wilson and his team were brilliant in managing my expectations as well as providing all the information I needed at the first consultation. I was cared for extremely well post surgery, and any questions or worries I had were quickly dealt with. I only wish I had this surgery earlier!

After 10 years of having my breast implants, it was time to decide whether to have them replaced or removed. After visiting 3 consultants, they all advised that I had capsular contracture and that my implants were the textured type that have since been recalled. Upon meeting with Sherif Wilson, he set out my options, and I chose to have a full explant and capsulectomy to remove the capsular contracture, together with a lift, with Mr Wilson. His manner from the start was professional but personable, informative and reassuring. I had a very bad experience when my implants were put in, and Mr Wilson was kind and reassuring that I would be in very good care with him. 2 months post-procedure, and I am so happy that I chose to have the procedure with him. The operation itself could not have been any easier, and I am so delighted with the results. His secretaries responded to my questions politely and quickly, the nurses in the Nuffield (Bristol) were all angels, and Mr Wilson was so kind and supportive. I would do it all again!

Ever since I decided to get implants I searched on google for the best doctor in the UK and I'm sure I came across several doctors, honestly when I only saw the name of Mr Sherif Wilson I opened his page and looked a bit over and I said yes, I'm going to see him, it didn't matter that I had to drive 2 hours by car, I don't regret it. From the first consultation until yesterday when I had to go for a check-up, his team was close to me. I wanted a natural result and that's what I got. my breasts look very good and the scars are not even noticeable. the recovery was very very easy, I never thought it would be so easy. Mr Wilson did a DIEP reconstruction, Symmetry and nipple reconstruction surgery for me and the results are more than I could have ever hoped for! Mr Wilson is not only a talented surgeon, but the kindest doctor. From my first consultation he made me feel at ease. I cannot thank Mr Wilson enough - he has help heal the trauma of my diagnosis/treatment and given me body confidence which I never would have thought would be possible.

I visited Mr Wilson back in 2010 and had the pleasure of being back in his care 2024! Mr Wilson is very welcoming, reassuring and very passionate with what he does. Explaining the whole procedure and making sure I was happy and comfortable throughout the whole experience. Mr Wilson’s secretary’s were also very friendly and very quick to respond to any emails or questions I had. I had a breast reduction last year with Dr Wilson and couldn't recommend him enough. I went from around an f/e to a c/d cup that fits my frame and size. Recently I went swimming with friends and felt so confident in my swim wear...for the first time in ages. Dr Wilson and his staff were spectacular during the pre and post surgery. I was naturally nervous undergoing surgery, and had some nausea and dizziness from the general anesthetic for a few days afterwards which subsided. I walked a lot after surgery and in 4 weeks was able to jog again, after 8 weeks was back to usual workouts but feeling more confident in myself. Great after care and great results :)

I couldn’t recommend Mr Sherif Wilson’s work enough. I debated this surgery for so long but found it such a stress free experience as an anxious person.
