Mr Wilson is outstanding. He put me at ease from the start with his calm, professional manner and clear explanations. I had many questions throughout the process, and both he and his secretaries were always available and responded promptly, which made everything feel smooth and reassuring. The results of my abdominoplasty and liposuction are incredible—far beyond my expectations. His aftercare and support were terrific. I’m truly grateful and would recommend him without hesitation.
I had a neck and lower face lift carried out by Paul Wilson and his incredible team. From the first phone call to my 6 week consultation yesterday my journey has been incredible. The results exceeded my expectations and l am beyond happy with my results. He is kind, empathetic and a very skilled surgeon with a world class team.
From initial contact to final consultation Mr Wilson was excellent. Gave me reassurance that my arm lift would be successful and that the end results would transform me. Gor the first time in 30 years I font hate my arms. 10 weeks post op and target book amazing. He has done such a lot for my wellbeing. Thank you so much.
I recently had a breast reduction at St Joseph’s Hospital with Paul Wilson. From the initial consultation to post-surgery recovery, Paul made me feel at ease. The information he provided about the process was clear, and all my queries and concerns were addressed in a respectful and calm manner. I understood the likely outcomes of the surgery, including any limitations, and that there was no guarantee of a specific size following the reduction. I was given valuable guidance and was able to set and manage my expectations. The process itself ran smoothly, and the care I received at St Joseph’s was excellent. Following the surgery, I was given guidance and assistance with recovery, including what to wear, and when to undertake activities such as driving, showering, and lifting. I was seen by Paul Wilson after 2 and 6 weeks post-discharge. I have healed well and am really pleased with the results. I would thoroughly recommend Paul and his team; all were really helpful and obliging. I would also recommend the facilities and care at St Joseph’s Hospital.
Bilateral Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty and Xanthelasma Removal with Paul Wilson Aesthetics – Outstanding Experience After thoroughly researching multiple clinics, I opted for bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty and xanthelasma removal with Paul Wilson Aesthetics. I checked credentials with the Royal College of Surgeons and the CQC, and compared various quotes. Paul’s pricing was extremely competitive and represented excellent value for money. Surgery is never cheap, and I strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic procedures to do their homework—choose a surgeon based on credentials, reputation, and CQC rating, not just the marketing. I nearly went with a national chain offering the world, only to discover their poor CQC rating, numerous negative reviews, no refund policy, and even reports of clinic closures. My experience with Paul and his team was exceptional from start to finish. I made an enquiry and was seen at a clinic near me within a week. I opted for surgery within 8 weeks at their Woodside Clinic in Okehampton, which is truly like something out of a fairytale – a beautiful, tranquil setting. The procedure itself was far less daunting than expected—less traumatic than going to the dentist, entirely painless, and over within an hour. I had minimal discomfort and bruising afterwards. Stitches were out within a week, and I was back to normal quickly. I had a follow-up appointment at 4 weeks, and the results exceeded all expectations. My surgery was a little more complex due to the location of the xanthelasma, but Paul successfully removed it. I honestly wasn’t expecting such fantastic results—I now have a refreshed look and feel far more self-confident. Paul’s team went above and beyond to accommodate me, including helping with local hotel recommendations to make everything as stress-free as possible. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made the whole experience truly exceptional. I would highly recommend Paul Wilson Aesthetics to anyone considering eyelid or facial surgery. A first-class service from start to finish.

I recently had a breast augmentation with Paul Wilson at St Joseph's hospital, and I wanted to share my experience to help others as I used this site a lot in the weeks before surgery. From the initial consultation to post-surgery recovery, the entire process was seamless. From the moment I met Paul at my first consultation I knew I was in safe hands. He has a calm demeanor and instantly made me feel at ease. It is clear he is a very experienced and knowledgeable surgeon and he explained all the options to me in detail and the pros and cons of each. I trusted him fully and I am so glad I chose him to perform my BA. I am thrilled with the results and I am healing very well with no pain. I am glad I listened to Paul's advice and feel that the size (360cc) and the subfascial placement of the implants is perfect for me. On the day of the surgery I was a bit nervous when I got to the theatre but the surgical team were very caring and the anaesthetist reassured me that everything would be ok. He was right, I was soon asleep and I woke up feeling fine, no pain or nausea or sore throat that I had read about online. All of the nurses and hospital staff were so lovely and I really enjoyed my overnight stay. The recovery so far has been smooth. I feel great and my only regret if any is that I didn't do this sooner! Updated on 18 Feb 2025: I'm feeling great still. All going well with my recovery and my breasts are feeling softer day by day. I am getting used to sleeping on my back. All my clothes look so much better on now that I have breasts again after a long time feeling very flat chested. I'm so glad I had the augmentation! Updated on 20 Feb 2025: I just had a look at the scars as I usually just replace the micropore surgical tape without really having a good look. They look great and are hardly visible. My right breast and nipple feels absolutely fine. My left is a little numb below the nipple and the nipple is more sensitive but I'm sure this will pass in time. I am doing the breast massage. I'm still very happy with my results and can't stop looking at them! Updated on 2 Mar 2025: Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my operation. I am loving my new boobs! The scars are healing beautifully. I am just using silicone scar cream now and have stopped using the micropore tape. They don't feel heavy and I have no pain. They feel great! Updated on 18 Mar 2025: Everything is going well. My breasts feel much softer now. I'm still wearing the sports bra but I've just tried on some normal bras that I had in the house to see how they look. I have all different sized bras because my breast size has fluctuated a lot over the years from weight changes to pregnancy and breast feeding. I didn't need an uplift as I didn't have any sagging but the implants have definitely filled the stretchy skin that was left. I feel great! Updated on 22 Apr 2025: Hi, thought I'd post an update. Recovery going well. My breasts feel soft and natural. I was wearing the wrong band size before the augmentation. Most of my bras were 34A but I was probably a small 32B. I'm now measuring as a 32E after a 360cc augmentation so that is a surprise. It's great because I can wear a plunge bra like this to accentuate them or the compression or sports bra if I want to minimise them (not very often that it's the latter though...if you've got it, flaunt it I say... haha) So pleased with the results. The only tricky thing is that a size 10 dress used to fit me well and now they're a bit tight in the bust but that's a small inconvenience. I love them!
From my first consultation a few weeks before my surgery to my post op appointment last week my experience with Paul and his team has been amazing. Not knowing anyone who had had upper eyelid surgery I did my own research and found Paul. He was very reassuring, explained what would happen and talked me through my surgery as it was happening. My recovery was good and my results are exactly what I had hoped for! Thank you!
Paul has been wonderful - I needed implant replacement including revision after 16 years of the same implants and eventual rupture. He not only did a great job of addressing the physical/visual issues but gave detailed information, allowed plenty of time for me to discuss aims for the future - as no implants last for ever - and was realistic about results while also being reassuring due to the restructuring required on one side. I'm now 6 weeks on and things are settling really well, look incredibly natural and the offer of a chance to follow up in 6 months is also reassuring, as all recovery takes time to finalise.
This was my second procedure with Paul and I couldn’t be happier. Paul made me feel comfortable every step of the way. My results are amazing, and I am so so happy. The service I received from both Paul & Karen was 110%. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone wanting breast surgery.
