Bella Vou - Royal Tunbridge Wells

Joy is an accomplished, enthusiastic Specialist Theatre Practitioner with experience in supporting anaesthetists and surgeons in providing a high level of patient care. She is an energetic, self-motivated health professional with a passion for people and achieves an excellent standard of work. Joy qualified from Southbank University in 2002 since then has specialised in head and neck surgery and anaesthetics in a busy general hospital. More recently had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in plastic surgery, ophthalmic and hand surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead where she worked for 9 months. She joins our team to further her cosmetic surgical skills.

Lisa Wakeman trained at a prestigious publishing house, in Cape Town, before relocating to the UK, in 1995. With a background in marketing and education, and an interest in health and aesthetics, she feels very privileged to be part of a team, devoted to achieving the best results for our clients, and offering them individual care and attention. She employed the skills acquired, to provide excellent service and care, in event planning and hosting in various fields. Lisa spent two years working in a range of departments, at a renowned, private plastic surgery hospital, before joining the Bella Vou Team.

As a young girl growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa, Noula can remember when she was asked what she wanted to do in the future. Her response was always, ‘To help and take care of people and make them feel better about themselves’. Noula decided to study beauty therapy and gained an internationally recognised diploma from Switzerland in 2000. Her passion to help people continued into hospitality when she joined her first cruise ship as a therapist and quickly progressed to Spa Manager on board the luxurious Silversea and Queen Mary 2 ships, travelling around the world for 5 years. During this time, Noula interacted with fellow crew members and passengers from all over the world which was an invaluable experience, learning about many different cultures and nationalities.

Stevie deals with all patient enquiries; giving our patients all the information needed, finding appointments to suit their schedules, answering any questions they may have, and being a massive support to them throughout their whole journey. From the moment our patients call to make an appointment to after their procedure, Stevie will do all she can to make the patients experience a pleasant and positive one. She ensures the most professional, but friendly and approachable care is giving to each individual patient. Stevie is a dedicated and passionate, and very happy to be part of the Bella Vou team.

Beau joined Bella Vou in 2016 and began building her knowledge base at Front of House. She has since developed her career by being promoted to Business Support Manager. Beau looks after the accounts, supports the Clinic Manager and assists with the ongoing development of the business. Beau also acts as Medical Secretary to our consultants and Patient Liaison to our clients. She will also be the port of call for general anaesthetic hospital bookings. She has been instrumental at ensuring the smooth running of the surgery and has excellent customer service skills and a great understanding of the business.
