Due to the type of work I do my job requires a lot of intense concentration and focus. Over time, that led to me having extremely deep frown lines between my eyebrows. The result was that I tended to look like I was always mad or unhappy, which was rarely the actual case. I grew tired looking like that and wanted to make a change. Honestly, the idea of a "Botox" type of procedure was something that sounded ridiculous at first (I'm a middle-aged man) but the more I saw myself in pictures, the mirror, whatever, the less I liked how I looked.
So I finally just decided to get the procedure done and I'm glad I did. While the lines aren't completely gone yet (this was my first procedure), they have been significantly reduced and that alone has already helped with my self-confidence regarding my appearance. I'll definitely go back and do the procedure again because the results are worth getting over my initial reaction/reluctance to go through with any type of cosmetic surgery.
