Q: What kind of medical procedure can fix my acne scarring between my eyebrows? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. BantaJuly 15, 2019

A:

Microneedling with radiofrequency works well for scarring .  If you choose filler in addition , please choose your provider carefully . This area poses a risk of intravsascular injection with potential serious side effects. Make sure they have experience . Best of luck.

Q: Botox to eyes - I’ve been told by 2 injectors I can’t botox my eyes without my forehead. Is this true?
Answered by Dr. BantaJuly 15, 2019

A:

Botox can be used in crows feet by themselves .  The areas that do best together are glabella (between eyes furrow) and forehead .  Eyes can easily be done by themselves.

Q: I would like to know if I can get SculpSure in this area with a good result? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. BantaJuly 15, 2019

A: I have had SculpSure laser for 5 years. Best results are seen with areas that are stubborn fat areas. True sculpting .  You are the Perfect candidate .

Two treatments 6 weeks apart should reduce the area .

Q: Is it normal for Botox in the forehead and around the eyes to wear off after two months?
Answered by Dr. BantaMay 18, 2019

A: Botox usually lasts 3 to 4 months. There are variables that can change this time frame. Exercise can increase the metabolism . If the vial has been open too long the Botox may not be as effective . There are also incidences of Botox antibodies that can form and decrease effectiveness .  Check that what you are actually getting is Botox and not a shorter acting product . Please discuss your results with your injector .

Q: Swollen lip, lumps or doctor mistake? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. BantaMay 13, 2019

A: Swelling is to be expected after filler.  This takes 2 to 4 weeks to resolve .

Recommend icing and calling your injector. You may want to go in for a check. Hope all goes well.
