Abdominoplasty
One of the procedures I perform most frequently is the tummy tuck. This popular procedure can be performed by itself, in combination with liposuction, or as part of a full mommy makeover. The goal of a tummy tuck is to create a perfectly contoured, taut abdomen. To achieve that, I make a low incision, remove excess skin and fat from the midsection, tighten the abdominal muscles, and redrape the remaining skin. For patients with excess fat, liposuction can help contour the waistline, flanks, and even the back. Over my long career as a plastic surgeon in San Antonio, I have continually enhanced the results that I am able to achieve, providing my patients with the phenomenal changes they expect. He then completed an internship in General Surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center, followed by a residency in General Surgery at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio and a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (formerly the Lahey Clinic) in Burlington, Massachusetts.
