I had breast reconstruction surgery after having a double mastectomy. I had breast cancer on the right breast only, had it removed and decided to remove both breasts so that my chances of getting it again were eliminated. I was worried how it would turn out in the end but I am very pleased with the outcome. I didn't have a lot of breast tissue and I am thin so the doctor was not able to use any of my fat to fill in.
