Procedure was fairly quick and no too painful

Procedure was fairly quick and no too painful. Just some pressure that was a tad uncomfortable. Very happy with results so far. Jawline sore the evening after procedure but a bit better the next day. You must sleep on your back for 3-4 nights and no running or intense workouts for 1-2 weeks. I am hopeful the results will improve more after 1-2 months. The photo is the before and...

30 Years Old with Bad Genetics - San Antonio, TX

I have always wondered if it was something I did growing up that caused the wrinkles to be so deep on my forehead. A friend of mine went here and suggested that I just schedule a consult to see if they could help me. Well this was the best decision I have made! I was always self conscience of my forehead and within 2 weeks after having it done I felt like a new person. I had more confidence...

55 Years Old with Sad Face - San Antonio, TX

I started juvedeem fillers in my face last year. I think it made me look at least 10 year younger. I have been a customer of Nova asthetics for many years now. I have done different lasers treatment to my face as well as chemical peels and Botox in my forehead. It’s So worth it. And they offer some of the best prices in San Antonio.

33 Yo. Preventing Wrinkles Since 25 Years Old.

Marta has been doing my BOTOX for probably 5 years or so now. She has the most gentle hand and is very good at not makeing me look too over done. She answers any questions I have about new areas of concern and really puts my mind at ease. I have never had any issues with the BOTOX. I love that she offers touch ups in 10 days if things aren’t exactly how you want them.

Busy Schedule, Two Kids, Getting Older... Need Wrinkle Relief

I am going to turn 40 in 2018. I am a busy mom of two boys; one is 7.5 years old and the other is 18 months old. Early on, I was sporadic about my Botox treatments, but recently, I have been receiving treatments approximately every 5 months. I don't like to look at my reflection in the mirror and see a tired, aging woman!

15 Q&A

Q: Can I get Sculptra injected into my hip dips to make curvier figure? (I have a bbl)
Answered by Marta Paul, APFebruary 6, 2019

A: Hello. Seeing as that your are only 1 month out from your BBL procedure, we recommend you wait at least 6 months before doing anything additional. You still have a lot of healing to do and things will look different once fully healed. If after 6 months you still feel you want more volume, Sculptra is a good non surgical option. Good luck!

Q: At what point do you need to worry about your lip injections? (Photo)
Answered by Marta Paul, APJuly 30, 2018

A: Filler can take several week to settle and heal. Also, everyone's body respond differently to fillers and heals at various rates. We recommend If after 2 weeks you are still very lumpy and swollen, you go back to the treating physician and see if they maybe need to dissolve some of the filler. Good luck.

Q: I got lip fillers 3 months ago. I still have a small bulge above my lip. Will it ever go away? (photos)
Answered by Marta Paul, APJuly 30, 2018

A: Hello. I would recommend you return back to your provider and allow them to evaluate the area. It appears some filler has migrated above the lip. This typically can be easily corrected by dissolving the filler with hyaluronidase injection. Good luck.

Q: I am 56 years old and have become immune to Botox. I have been recommended a product called Neurobloc. Does this work?
Answered by Marta Paul, APJuly 30, 2018

A: Hello. We would recommend the use of Xeomin, as it is a pure protein and patients typically cannot build up a tolerance to it as there is no preservative in it.

Q: Should I have this blister from Juvederm 4 days after the procedure? (Photos)
Answered by Marta Paul, APJuly 30, 2018

A: Hello. It appears from the provided photo to be a bruise (which is common after lip injections). Give it a few days and it should heal up nicely. You can also speed up the healing process with the use of arnica and bromelain. If in fact it is a blister, it is common if you've ever had a fever blister, for lip injections to bring one on. You can ask your provider to prescribe you an anti-viral. For future appointments have them prescribe it to you prior to the treatment to avoid any outbreaks.
