Almost five years ago, I visited this clinic to attain more information on peels. I wanted a test patch of a particular peel, but a woman of Asian origin, who was the individual who greeted me, recommended that I tried another peel and to go ahead and to just let them apply it on the entire face, as I was in good hands. I didn't go with my gut and thus agreed to the suggestion. The person who applied the peel stated that she was going to apply three layers of the solution. Now, I don't know what was used on me, as I was not told. I was just told that it was a lunch peel. I did see on the table a bottle that said salicylic peel 20%, but I'm not sure if that was used. The lady, who I believe was a nurse or aesthetician, said that she was going to apply three layers of the solution, but that didn't happen. My skin turned extremely red, so she just ended up applying one. I told her that I wanted to see what was occurring, but she said that she didn't have a mirror. REALLY?? It was burning. She told me to leave on the solution for 6 hours, which I did, as I was naïve. (After visiting several doctors, I was told that that shouldn't have been done, especially since I had a severe reaction on the spot.) Anyway, three weeks later, I see severe hypertrophic scarring on my chin, even though I followed their special instructions. I decided not to go back, as I received very [RS bleep] service from the receptionist (blond female), person who greeted me, and very unprofessional service from the female who conducted the procedure. I noticed that the females there spend the entire day gossiping when the dermatologists are not present. I noticed that they talk negatively about patients behind their backs. VERY AWFUL! I should've walked out of there and not stayed out of courtesy. Almost five years later, I'm still dealing with the scarring that was left behind. This review is basically my two cents on this clinic. I say go with your gut when you are at any clinic. Once you see a red flag, run!
