Dr. Shipes was amazing! She took plenty of time to answer my questions and went a step further to explain the hows and the whys. She is amazing and the one thing that stood out to me about Dr. Shipes was the fact she will NOT perform a procedure if she doesn't think it's necessary. I'm sure if you wanted to proceed with it she would follow your wishes, but she explained to me other (less expensive) options and I was very impressed with that. You will not be disappointed in the service you receive and her knowledge and love of what she does.
I have wrote this review about 4 times, trying to figure out how to say how I feel about Luxe Spa and make my review sound like a customer and not a family member. I am not a family member of Dr. Shipes or John and I did not know either of them before I walked through Luxe Spa's door 4 years ago. But now I feel like family. They treat you like a person and not a procedure. Being older, my goal is always to rid my face of marionette lines and loose jowls... plus plump my lips and remove a few other wrinkles. Dr. Shipes understands, listens, and explains. I have found that the perfect procedure for me is the PDO Facial Threading. Dr. Shipes keeps it pain free and I don't bruise. I leave looking refreshed and natural. I can not recommed Dr. Shipes and John enough! Thank you both!
Dr. Shipes explained every detail regarding the facial threading and vaginal rejuvenation. She made me feel comfortable since I had never received either procedure before. John was also very good with helping me with the scheduling as I kept adding more to my initial consultation (they do so many procedures here it was hard to decide what to do first)!
