I had a second septoplasty with Dr. Pero about 5 months after my initial procedure (with a different doctor). My initial procedure was too conservative and did not correct my breathing issues, so I was referred to Dr. Pero for more aggressive treatment. I had already met with him before, to consult regarding a rhinoplasty, and I was already happy with him and very confident in his abilities (if I had gone for the rhinoplasty, it absolutely would have been with him!). He very patiently explained what he thought the issue with my nose was, how he could fix it, and whether or not he thought it would be worth it. I was not excited about having surgery again so soon, so it was good to hear that he thought he could make a big improvement. He was always very careful to listen to any concerns I had, and I never felt rushed. I was able to schedule my procedure very quickly, and everything went smoothly. My recovery was much easier and more comfortable than it was for my first septoplasty, but that is also thanks to the anesthesia used, plus knowing what to expect and having done it all before. Over 3 weeks out now, and my nose feels great! There is a massive improvement in my breathing, and I am so glad that I chose Dr. Pero to be my doctor. All of the nurses and office staff that I interacted with were always kind and helpful as well.

My experience with Dr Pero was great. My upper eyelids were very droopy. He removed excess skin from them. He is careful and kind. His office staff are also very nice. He also helped me with some sinus issues.

After a failed Balloon Sinus Surgery 18 months ago and not being crazy about my ever growing nose that was no longer the cute perky nose of my youth, I started researching ENT’s that were board certified in plastic surgery so I could have both surgeries at the same time. Through RealSelf I started my search.I am so thankful for finding Dr Colin Pero. I am so happy with the results. I no longer have my droop at the end of my nose and my nostrils are back to a normal size having become larger over the years. He was also able to even out the bridge of my nose which of course had sustained several injuries due to skiing in my youth. Surgery was approximately 5 hours for both procedures.Two weeks post op I finally turned a corner feeling better but still was not up to a full day of activity until almost 4 weeks post op. I realize that it probably took me longer to recover since I had both procedures done and I was under general anesthesia for 5 hours. Highly recommend Dr. Pero for your Rhinoplasty.

Dr. Pero listened to every concern that I had and made me feel very confident leading up to the procedure. He explains everything so well and REALLY cares that you get the results that you want! On the day of surgery I got very nervous, but he was very reassuring. Procedure went exactly as planned! The office is incredibly helpful if you have any questions during recovery. You schedule an appointment a week after surgery to get your cast taken off and stitches removed--you have to REALLY trust someone who is putting scissors up your nose to remove these tiny little stitches and scrape out any blood clots. And Dr. Pero is definitely that person! You see the results of rhinoplasty gradually over time because the swelling just takes a long long time to go down. So each day I grow happier with my new nose. I love it so much. Dr. Pero also did fillers in my cheeks and under my eyes which just look awesome. I plan to get some acne scars removed by him in the near future as well. I'm so glad to have found him, I won't be going anywhere else!

I came to Dr. Pero with a severe deviated septum and sinus issues. Right off the bat, I felt confident with him doing my surgery as he explored all options with me, really took the time to understand my case, and answered each and every question I had along the way (which was a lot). You will not find another doctor who cares as much for his patients as he does. I ended up having my septoplasty, rhinoplasty, and sinus surgery with Dr. Pero. I loved the results and the way my nose looked, and I can finally breathe and not have sinus infections every other month thanks to him. He truly changed my life!

Dr. Pero is a knowledgeable, caring doctor who has advised me on what is feasible for me to have done and what is not. He performed an eye lift for me this spring with amazing results. When I went back for my first checkup after surgery and told Dr.Pero how pleased I was he told me it would continue to improve - and it did! Dr Pero took my rib cartilage and worked a miracle to rebuild my nose after many sinus surgeries for the last 10 years. He was extremely available after the surgery and I even was able to reach him directly on a Saturday to ask about symptoms. My nose is now completely functional after years of not being able to breathe and its looking awesome as more and more swelling comes down. I’m so happy with the results and highly recommend Dr Pero!

Dr. Pero is very professional. He was patient with me in the time leading up to my surgery. I am only 2 months post op but I am happy with the continued progression leading to a good end result with my rhinoplasty. My blepharoplasty has shown it's final results and I am extremely pleased with it. For so long I had bags under my eyes that would not go away no matter what I did. I feel like this alone makes me look ten years younger.

This is the best doctor ever! I had head and neck cancer giver years ago which destroyed the tissue in my face and my skin. Dr. Pero has been a blessing and has helped rebuild my face after radiation. He is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and understanding. You will not regret going to him. Seriously, the best doctor one can hope for!

I have had fat around my chin area no matter how much weight I lost or gained, leaving my face always looking fuller than desired. I was hesitant on trying Kybella due to cost but honestly I could not be more pleased with the results! I FINALLY have a jaw line! It is a little painful and takes a minimum of 3 days to recover. I wouldn’t go to see anyone else in the metroplex other than Dr. Pero. He was very conservative and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I would recommend Dr. Pero and his staff to anyone in the area considering any type of procedure. He truly cares about his patients and is very honest about if he thinks a procedure would fit your needs. Overall, Kybella and Dr. Pero were wonderful!
