Radiance Dentistry - Dental Implant Center - Irving

Dr Retana is a third-generation dentist that has a wide academic background, acquired in top tier Universities in Costa Rica, Argentina and the United States. These certifies him as highly trained professional in the field of Implant Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation. He is joining our team at Radiance Dentistry full time while maintaining a clinical assistant professor position in the Department of Prosthodontics at Louisiana State University He completed his undergraduate studies at the Latin University of Costa Rica, where he received his DDS degree in 2005. He obtained his specialty in Prosthodontics with an emphasis in dental implants from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2008. In 2012 he completed the advanced education program for international dentists CCAD in Implantology at New York University. After working in private practice for almost 8 years (2009-2017) where he placed and restored more than 7000 implant cases.

Frank has been in customer service since the mid 90’s when he obtained his degree in social science and business management. Frank worked as a customer service and relationship consultant for many years helping small and mid-sized companies developing their customer service performance. Frank joined us in 2014 and works with passion to exceed client expectations and build long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect. In his free time he enjoys participating in community services and social education projects for children and youth.

Catherine joined Radiance Dentistry since 2010, Catherine was born in England, grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Savannah, Georgia to pursue her degree in dental hygiene. She graduated from college in 2002 and has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist ever since. She treats her patients as if they are family and is very quality conscious. Catherine is currently working on her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) and will graduate in 2018. Catherine is married to her best friend and they have 3 children. In her free-time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading and exercising.

Isabel Delgado joined Radiance Dentistry in 2015. She loves the family atmosphere at Radiance and feels the most rewarding part of her job is watching patients go from hopeless to thriving and confident. Originally from Carrollton, Texas; Isabel enjoys being outdoors with her two dogs, watching scary movies and attending concerts. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and welcomed.

Pat worked 15 years with the oral and maxillofacial surgery department at Duke University Medical Center located in N.C. and 3 years with a private practice in Tampa Fl; overall she has worked in the dental field over 31 years. She is responsible for the front office duties and dental insurance affairs. She has been in our practice since 2009.

Laura began her dental career over 6 years ago as a registered dental assistant. Her upbeat attitude makes her the perfect addition to our team. If you ask her what she loves about dentistry, it would be how changing a person’s smile can transform his/her life. She has 2 fun loving and wonderful kids, Emmanuel and Emma. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, watching movies and spending time with her family.

Maha Shahidi is originally from Egypt and studied in Jordan. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan. After graduation, she worked for Eli Lilly for about 5 years.After moving to the United States with her husband, Mounir, she began working as a pharmacist for CVS pharmacy in Indianapolis, as a pharmacy manager. After her husband’s graduation from the Indiana College of Dentistry, they moved along with their 2 children to Texas. She worked for CVS Pharmacy for 13 years until she transitioned into her current position with Radiance Dentistry, as office manager. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.

Lis joined the Radiance Team in 2010, where she found her home to her second family. She loves what she does, so much so she doesn’t consider it work because she enjoys changing patients lives with a new smile. Lis is a proud soccer mom of two sweet little girls, Genesis and Alisa. She spends most of her free time on the “soccer field” cheering her girls on. For a break from the fast pace of life, she enjoys a good book by her favorite author Paulo Coelho.
