I opted for the gastric sleeve and chose Dr. Hafford after consulting with two other surgeons. I asked her why she chose bariatric to specialize in and she stated that she wanted to watch her patients journey into becoming healthy. She is very personable, honest, and compassionate. Dr. Hafford was a God send, she was recommended to me from two of my other doctors to perform the Bariatric Surgery. After my first appointment with her and she explained the different proceditures to me we chose the Sleeve, which turned out to be perfect. I was in and out in a day, up walking around and everything. The surgery was in October 2016 and as of date I've lost 70 lbs!! Have been taken off of the C-Pat machine and a few medications. I've dropped down two just about three sizes in clothes which is wonderful!! I really appreciate and thankful that I found Dr. Melanie Hafford!!

She was simply wonderful. I decided to get the gastric bypass February 2016 and was referred to her by my PCP. Best decision of my life. She was very detailed and professional. The doctor looked at my medical history and recommended what would be best for me. In the day and age of "google-ing" everything, that was refreshing.
