Post-Pregnancy Procedures
I’m a mother myself, so I know how pregnancy can lead to dramatic physical changes. It’s why I’m so passionate about performing mommy makeover surgeries in my Houston practice. It’s my pleasure to be able to help a woman take back her body and feel confident again. As part of my mommy makeover plastic surgery technique, I perform drainless tummy tucks, which can improve recovery time and result in minimal scarring. Breast Surgery
I always strive to deliver most natural results when it comes to breast surgery. I listen to my patient's goals to truly understand what their ideal look is and together we make the best plan to achieve those goals. I use only premium breast implants and utilize the no touch technique of breast implant insertion to minimize risk of infection and capsular contracture. I see my patient's free of charge annually after their breast surgery for annual exam and implant surveillance.
Abdominoplasty
A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, can help remove excess fat and loose skin to provide a tighter, more contoured waist. I am one of the only doctors in the Houston area who performs a drainless tummy tuck, using special tension sutures that can help better define the abdomen for a sleeker result. A drainless procedure minimizes the risk of infection and prevents tension on the incision area, helping [promote] faster healing. Tummy tuck recovery is also made much easier with the drainless technique, yielding significantly less downtime. Another plus: drainless tummy tuck scars are often thinner and less noticeable than those left by the traditional procedure.

This inspired Dr. Bachilo to pursue a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering and biochemistry from Rice University. She then received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, where she discovered her love for her craft. “While doing my rotations, nothing attracted me more than plastic surgery,” she recalls. “I loved that feeling of instant gratification and the immediate transformation patients would see, even before the final results post-healing.”
She completed a six-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, rotating through multiple highly respected hospitals and private cosmetic surgery practices across Texas before opening her own practice and medspa in 2017. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Bachilo uses her surgical skills to give back to the community and has traveled internationally on mission trips to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries on children in need. At home in Houston, she spends time with her husband, young daughter, and dog (a Shiba Inu named Kito!), and she enjoys cooking and crafting.
