I have been wearing glasses for as long as I remember. I don't remember a time I was not wearing glasses. Get teased as 4 eye durings my grade school. I've worn contacts but now my eyes are getting intolerant. They dry out and my eyes get red. Now that I am working, I spend alot of time meeting other people. . . and red eyes do not help. I saw 4 lasik providers in town. 2 of the places I went to were high pressure and sleezy. So I crossed them off. That left two. Since they had a promotion going on and all other things seems equal, I went with Dr. Khokhar, I met Dr. KHokhar during the preop exam. Immeidately felt his confidence in being able to give me a good outcome. he explained the specifics of my situation. I asked tons of questions and he was very patient. Surgery day was really easy. Some valium and 30 seconds of laser, I noticed a big difference. When I woke up the next day, I saw the world in HD! So So happy. So I recommend this procedure, this center, and this surgeon.

We recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Amjad P. Khokhar and his staff. From start to finish, my encounter with this medical practice left me feeling frustrated and let down. The level of incompetence displayed by the staff was simply unacceptable, and their lack of follow-up and information was astonishing. To begin with, the cataract surgery was cancelled not once, but twice, with less than a day's notice via text message. This kind of last-minute rescheduling is not only inconvenient, but it also demonstrates a complete disregard for the patients' time and well-being. It is crucial for medical professionals to understand the importance of clear communication and to respect the commitment patients make when scheduling surgeries. Unfortunately, Dr. Khokhar's staff failed miserably in this regard. Furthermore, the lack of information provided throughout the entire process was truly disheartening. It is essential for patients to be well-informed about their procedures, expected outcomes, and any potential risks involved. However, we have found ourselves constantly having to chase after the staff for even the most basic details. This level of unresponsiveness and disorganization is simply unacceptable in a medical practice. In my opinion, a medical professional's duty extends beyond just performing surgeries. It includes maintaining effective communication, being proactive in providing updates, and treating patients with respect and compassion. Regrettably, Dr. Khokhar's practice failed on all these fronts. I strongly urge anyone considering Dr. Amjad P. Khokhar's services to think twice. The lack of professionalism and disregard for patient care demonstrated by his staff are indicative of a deeply flawed practice. It is essential to find a healthcare provider who values their patients' time, well-being, and peace of mind. Unfortunately, Dr. Khokhar's practice falls far short of these expectations. Their incompetence, lack of follow-up, and inability to provide necessary information made for an utterly frustrating encounter. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others seeking quality medical care and I truly hope that the Dr. Him self is able to read this and understand what a horrible job his staff is doing.
