By two weeks that puffiness should have resolved, if it were going to resolve.&nbsp; At the very least the puffiness should be improving steadily.&nbsp; The product looks like it was placed or migrated superficially into the subcutaneous compartment, instead of above the periosteum (just above the cheek bone).&nbsp; The product on the right has tented up the cheek evenly and looks great, providing a solid new foundation.&nbsp; The product on the left may have slipped through the tissue and is not raising up the cheek skin and muscle.&nbsp; Reversing that pool of product and adding more product deeper at some point makes sense.&nbsp; This problem looks quite correctable, so keep at it!

It has gone down from a big swelling and a bruise to a smaller one but it is still puffy.&nbsp;I have read the reviews for similar problems and the average healing time is 2 weeks. I contacted my provider and she told me that it can take up to 4 weeks. I am going on a third week on Monday and I am still puffy which makes my face look unbalanced. I only bruised on one side. The left side came out perfect!

It's my opinion that a small volume of a local injection of hyaluronic acid with lidocaine (most versions of fillers now come mixed with lidocaine) should pose&nbsp;virtually no risk of significant systemic absorption and reincorporation into breast milk in enough concentration to hurt a baby.&nbsp; As a medicolegal and common sense precaution, most providers in the USA&nbsp;do not inject cosmetics into pregnant and breastfeeding patients.&nbsp; While you could pump and dump to play it extra safe, I&nbsp;would not recommend that for more than a day in this scenario.

I have just had juvederm ultra 0.5ml fillers in my lips but didnt realise there are no studies on having it and what it pasSes on to the breastmilk. Help! I really dont want to stop breastfeeding, im gutted :(

Restylane is very hydrophilic. &nbsp;For the first several days, dramatic swelling is not uncommon. Some providers recommend icing, but ultimately it's a normal reaction that should resolve within a short period of time. &nbsp;

I had restylane injections under my eyes today and saw minimal bruising/swelling until around 6 hours later when I started to see a gradual increase in swelling. Now I have significant swelling and some tenderness, as shown in the photos. Is this normal?

Have you ever seen Botox before it gets reconstituted? &nbsp;It looks like air! &nbsp;I remember the first time I purchased Botox and went to reconstitute it, and I thought "somebody ripped me off, there is nothing in there." &nbsp; There are expiration dates on everything, including that flour which stays in the pantry for years. &nbsp;While no one can officially recommend it, common sense dictates that the use of Botox is probably, absolutely fine after staying on the shelf for 2 extra months. &nbsp;I have observed over the years that these expired products typically find their way into family members at many offices, and I have never heard of an expired Botox disaster. &nbsp;Best of luck

Please i have an offer to have expired botox injection for free and its expired only since January. Pls give me ur remarks as per side effects or efficient of the botox and duration in such a case.

I got juvederm a week ago and the looked very knotty and uneven so I went back two days ago and doctor added one full syringe when I already had almost a full syringe he first time, now my lips look awful and uneven. My top look looks ridiculous and I want it to be about half the size it is now. My bottom lip looks awful but I am scared to get more injections. Is this normal?

Modern injectors of Sculptra really love the ease of injection, smoothness of the result, overall utility of the product, and long-lasting results up to two years in studies. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Sculptra, as it gives great results.

I'd like to have a bit more volume in my mid-face and buccal areas. While I'm considering fat grafting I think it's risky given the possible asymmetries/ variation in technique so I'm thinking of Sculptra. 1) Why does sculptra have only a 64% rating in real self? 2) What are the risks of sculptra? 3) Is it predictable compared to fat grafting? How can collagen formation be predictable? 4) How much does it cost per vial? Thanks.

Why Does Sculptra Have a Low Rating in Realself?

I have definitely seen some patients require increasing amounts of Botox to stay corrected.&nbsp; However, there are multiple variables including actual amount of product, dilution rates, and injector skill.&nbsp; If you really don't trust the injector, I would go to someone who will explain things to your satisfaction.&nbsp; Also, it never hurts to talk it over with the injector, because most injectors want satisfied patients.

I received 40units of Botox on my forehead and glabella (usually amount for me) a week ago. My doctor will not disclose dilution ratios. I have not have treatment in 2.5 years due to pregnancy and breastfeeding. I would normally see full effects after 3-4 days so the likelihood of this treatment working is not good in my opinion. What should I do and how to i approach this with my doctor. I feel like I was slided out of a good amount of money.

My first choice would be Sculptra. &nbsp;Do an image search online and see the difference it can make. &nbsp;The standard line is a vial per decade, but that will be per your provider's recommendations. &nbsp;It's ideal for what you are describing.

I want a filler that lasts a long time without risk of lumps or an unnatural look. How many syringes would I need and cost ? I am 40 years old and despite excellent skin care and sun protection the loss of facial volume is making me look older. In addition the loss of facial volume combined with my irreversible lip augmentation is making my lips appear even more disproportionate to my face .

Smoke away. &nbsp;Smoking doesn't affect the results with Sculptra. &nbsp;It does however age the skin. &nbsp;So the more you smoke, the more products and procedures required to stay in shape skin-wise.

How long do you have to wait to smoke one or two cigarettes a day after having sculptra injections?

Google perioral dermatitis. &nbsp;Dermnetnz is a great resource. &nbsp;That's an incredibly common problem. &nbsp;Oral doxy or minocycline is you best option. &nbsp;Spirono is not reliable nor are the usual acne topicals. &nbsp;Go for the standard therapy. &nbsp;Good luck.

Acne increasing slowly since Mirena (6th year on it). Started Clindamycin Phosphate gel April (no change in acne), doctor added Differin Gel 0.1% August (some clearing, no new breakouts), then added 50mg Spiro on November 1st. In 2nd week, slight itchy rash around mouth & nasolabial folds. Rash continues to worsen and spread slightly. Itchy, red, clear fluid from bumps in rash. Have avoided putting Differin gel on rash in case it would make it worse. Should I continue Spiro? What's going on?

I love Botox! I am using botox as a preventative measure against wrinkles. I started getting Botox about three years ago. It took me a few doctors to find one that I really liked and made it look natural. The pain is very minimal, they use a very tiny needle and it truly doesn't bother me. Recovery time for me was about 10 minutes. By the time I got home my husband had no idea that I had it done. I will only be seeing Dr. Guevara from now on. He's the best.
