By two weeks that puffiness should have resolved, if it were going to resolve.&nbsp; At the very least the puffiness should be improving steadily.&nbsp; The product looks like it was placed or migrated superficially into the subcutaneous compartment, instead of above the periosteum (just above the cheek bone).&nbsp; The product on the right has tented up the cheek evenly and looks great, providing a solid new foundation.&nbsp; The product on the left may have slipped through the tissue and is not raising up the cheek skin and muscle.&nbsp; Reversing that pool of product and adding more product deeper at some point makes sense.&nbsp; This problem looks quite correctable, so keep at it!

It has gone down from a big swelling and a bruise to a smaller one but it is still puffy.&nbsp;I have read the reviews for similar problems and the average healing time is 2 weeks. I contacted my provider and she told me that it can take up to 4 weeks. I am going on a third week on Monday and I am still puffy which makes my face look unbalanced. I only bruised on one side. The left side came out perfect!

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be rapidly reversed by injecting hyaluronidase. &nbsp;Alternatively, for very bubbly, superficial lumps of filler, a tiny stab incision can relieve the pressure of these collections of filler instantaneously.&nbsp; It's always a downer to deal with imperfect placement of fillers in the lips, but I&nbsp;recommend you keep working through it with an injector that you trust.

On July 15th I purchased one syringe of Juvrederm Ultra XC. This is my second time getting my lips done. I scheduled an appointment with Nurse X they assigned me a different Nurse. I noticed clear/ transparent-like lumps close to the surface on my bottom lip immediately. It's September 18 and the abnormal lumps are STILL there. Could I possibly hold them accountable to fix my bottom lip? I want Nurse X to fix my bottom lip!

It's my opinion that a small volume of a local injection of hyaluronic acid with lidocaine (most versions of fillers now come mixed with lidocaine) should pose&nbsp;virtually no risk of significant systemic absorption and reincorporation into breast milk in enough concentration to hurt a baby.&nbsp; As a medicolegal and common sense precaution, most providers in the USA&nbsp;do not inject cosmetics into pregnant and breastfeeding patients.&nbsp; While you could pump and dump to play it extra safe, I&nbsp;would not recommend that for more than a day in this scenario.

I have just had juvederm ultra 0.5ml fillers in my lips but didnt realise there are no studies on having it and what it pasSes on to the breastmilk. Help! I really dont want to stop breastfeeding, im gutted :(

The thinner versions of Juvederm tend to swell the areas under the eyes and in the lips not infrequently.&nbsp; I am not aware of any aftercare that will significantly reduce this reaction reliably.&nbsp; In my practice, I won't offer this filler in the lips or under the eyes unless the patient has already had a good response in those areas. &nbsp;The product is hydrophilic which means it is designed to draw in water, and many times it's scary for the patient how much the area swells.&nbsp; My recommendation would be to switch to a firmer filler that is less hydrophilic.&nbsp; I&nbsp;get as good or better results with other hyaluronic acid fillers, including the Voluma version of Juvederm and the firmer Restylane products. &nbsp; &nbsp;

I am tempted to get lip fillers again, but I m afraid about the post injection swelling. I was expecting some swelling, but mine was severe. I had to get some days off work . Is the normal? Should I expect the same if I have fillers again? The first two pictures are right after the fillers and the third one is taken on the second day.

I don't buy lack of sleep as an explanation&nbsp;for the changes you're seeing. I believe you could sleep for 24 hours straight and still look the same. &nbsp;Actually, your generation is no longer tolerating normal aging. Sculptra is an excellent way to stay young indefinitely. A high percentage of patients have relatively quick and lasting success with few treatments at your age as opposed to waiting until the lines are more firmly etched in your skin. &nbsp; I think you should go for it. &nbsp;Best of luck.

Restylane is very hydrophilic. &nbsp;For the first several days, dramatic swelling is not uncommon. Some providers recommend icing, but ultimately it's a normal reaction that should resolve within a short period of time. &nbsp;

I had restylane injections under my eyes today and saw minimal bruising/swelling until around 6 hours later when I started to see a gradual increase in swelling. Now I have significant swelling and some tenderness, as shown in the photos. Is this normal?

Have you ever seen Botox before it gets reconstituted? &nbsp;It looks like air! &nbsp;I remember the first time I purchased Botox and went to reconstitute it, and I thought "somebody ripped me off, there is nothing in there." &nbsp; There are expiration dates on everything, including that flour which stays in the pantry for years. &nbsp;While no one can officially recommend it, common sense dictates that the use of Botox is probably, absolutely fine after staying on the shelf for 2 extra months. &nbsp;I have observed over the years that these expired products typically find their way into family members at many offices, and I have never heard of an expired Botox disaster. &nbsp;Best of luck

Hyperhidrosis of the palms is a very annoying problem to be sure. &nbsp;It also turns out that a permanent solution would be very profitable for the company that one day invents such a solution. &nbsp;Right now we can offer only temporary options like Drysol, oral anticholinergics, iontophoresis, and Botox. &nbsp;All of these options have side effects and risks. &nbsp;

Hey, looks you earned an A+ for effort. &nbsp;However, your overall look is definitely an F. &nbsp;It's time to start over, find a new injector, reverse the filler because and try again. Best of luck

I got juvederm a week ago and the looked very knotty and uneven so I went back two days ago and doctor added one full syringe when I already had almost a full syringe he first time, now my lips look awful and uneven. My top look looks ridiculous and I want it to be about half the size it is now. My bottom lip looks awful but I am scared to get more injections. Is this normal?

There is usually significant downtime for the average person, up to a week of swelling and bruising. Therefore you have to make sure that you're able to afford this time of change.
